HAHAHA tell the truth! your safety rating is in the toilet and your trucks got cut back more!

Hey all you TMC guys that are sick of being treated like doo doo rung out like a wet/dirty sponge come over and work for Melton like MANY of your brothers have done! We have so many x TMC drivers we can't count em all!

And the story they tell about the cleanliness standards...interior inspections... and over all being run hard! I wouldn't work for them if they did pay good money! which they don't cuz they have to spend it on truck washing and new petes! lol

What a joke of a company!
So that is why two Melton drivers that I talked to last year went to TMC? How long have you been a Melton recruiter?

Default tmc

i'm starting with tmc on feb. 4th in columbia, s.c. one of the reasons i picked tmc was because of the positive feed back i received from the drivers i talked to. they all took great pride in working for tmc and were very happy with the money they were making.

Ya they either couldn't hack working for a real company or they are back here with their tails between their legs! lol

There are always some ppl that can't handle doing it the RIGHT way! If I'm a recruiter then how come I am in LA right now? hmmm Well I suppose we are all recruiters since we end up with a grand for telling ppl about what a good company this is.

doesn't everyone like to keep they're truck clean? I mean come on! But being REQUIRED to wash it when its 20 degrees outside and have to be out there shining chrome...thats just moronic! We are aloud to use the beacon twice a month, thats plenty. every time a tmc driver picks up a load they have to wash the truck! I mean aren't we flat bedding here?

Hate to say it but that was the problem and complaint of tons of drivers. Short runs, but have to turn 700 miles, untarp, then run 200 pick up, tarp and be 700 miles away the next day!
from what I have heard they got pretty screwed from DOT, and they cut the speed of the trucks down and shut off the prepass!
this is total rumor though but from a reputable source, i can't prove it though.
Unsafe and over worked! Not the way I like to run. And if they make soooo much more than the rest let's see a copy of someones check stubs! I don't believe that either cuz all they do is cut the crap out of their rates to get loads and steal customers.
I would laugh if they were bought out or out of business soon.

mark, I do not drive for TMC and never have but your info seems to be flawed hoss. From what I'm reading, their Driver and Vehicle history has gotten better each check. Their Safety Management has gotten just slightly worse. Their last Safety check: 3/7/2006 Case#IA-2006-118-US0858 Compliance Review Violation#395.8(e) False reports of records of duty status 49 Counts Settled Amount Settled: $20,090.00

Melton hasn't been checked on in the last 6 years as far as Safety but their Vehicle has gotten worse while their Driver hasn't exactly changed good or bad. So what is your beef with TMC? If you want to talk Melton, start your own thread. If you want to start a pissing match, start another thread.

Mark the Moron should be your handle. ALL of your info is WRONG not to mention some of your spelling and grammar. If this is a reflection of your intelligence, you wouldn’t qualify to WASH TMC rigs let alone drive one. TMC drivers don't shine their own trucks, they HAVE them washed only once per week. Your info on the speed and pre-pass is wrong too. I already posted my check stubs MONTHS ago when I worked for TMC and they were $1100.00 per week AVERAGE.
I think Melton would be better off if you DIDN'T cheerlead for them. Your attitude and ignorance casts a dark shadow over an otherwise decent company.
Go find something constructive to do like make license plates.

He's in LA on a saturday while the rest of us are at the house.
I've been with TMC for 2 years and I have no intentions of leaving. When I was in orientation there were 4 Melton drivers and 3 Arrow drivers in there with me. 2 Melton drivers washed out first day with 1 failing the drug sreen. BTW...why did those drivers leave their companies? Oh yea...home time problems.

Enjoy your weekend in LA while we sit at the house with our families. 8)

Didn't I see that there was a driver issues meeting today at the hotel? Was anyone there today that is on this board or were you all at home? I was just curious if anyone brought up problems with moving to transflo? If you were there you can pm me.

Thanks.

Transflow, let's say I wasn't too enthusiastic about switching to it. I will say after using it for the last several weeks it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Yes, it does take a little longer than just dropping your Trippak into the box, but it doesn't take that much longer. I do hate filling out all those bubbles, what's up with that? If you send in your paperwork you can get your Trippak turn around time (Transflow turn around?) real low. Same day in fact. Scan time is really fast. If you send your documents when there is no line or a small line it is fast. For me, the worst part is there is no Transflow in the Austin area. So, I have to try to send documents before going home, although there is not always a Transflow station between a shipper and home. Or try to send it out on Sunday when I leave. That can hurt my turn around time. Overall, while I'm not impressed, it isn't near as bad as I thought I would be. I do tend to send in my receipts much quicker now.
