I clicked that link ,and seems someone might need glasses ...Because I saw POM PON...NOOT POM POM ...You must be an UGLY cheeleader at a PUBLIC ..."S-KOOL"
LOL it seems that site is as spelling challenged as YOU! HERE is the correct spelling of POM POMS: http://www.allstarpoms.com/

Could be , But I still think your knowledge of Pom Poms is more a product of them being the tools of your trade .
I don't know, you brought them up and you tend to wink at men a lot. Just saying.

All this inuendo about sexual orientation just confirms what they say about guys driving Peterbilts , And Sugar in their tank...
Innuendo aside, you seem to be the one bringing all this up. Perhaps you conducted your own Peterbit research.

My research was limited to visual observation of Black & Chrome Peterbilts pulling Flatbeds with "POM POMS " strapped to the hood .

TL and Goldie,
You are wasting your time with this person! Heck, look at his handle! a sure sign of someone trying to make up for another shortage somewhere! Also, probably jealous of all the Black and Chrome, since Pumpkin Orange is more his style.

Default Overweight

Terry, you are right about sheetrock being overweight. I got a load on wednesday out of Acme (Quanah) going to a jobsite in San Marcos. At 11pm I got my very first overweight ticket at the San Marcos scale just 7 miles from my delivery. Luckily after a chat with Todd he agreed to re-imburse me for the ticket costs. It's not a moving violation so I won't get any points for it.... it's just frustrating.
Here in Texas we have an annual overweight permit that covers us from Rotan to Houston along Texas 36 as long as we are not on the interstate. There are no plans by TMC to change anything related to the overweight issues. Thye will not lower the shipper weight. They will not permit us for all of the areas in Texas that we run sheetrock because the permit is too expensive. The only thing that they will do is pay the ticket. Keep this in mind if you get a sheetrock load that stays within Texas: You will be overgross....scale your load!!

My BOL said the weight was just under 50,000 lbs so I knew I was going to be overweight. I weighed in Tye and was a little over 81,000 lbs. I routed around one permanent scale only to be caught by DOT in N. Fort Hood making random checks. I got a level 1 inspection, luckily they didn't have portable scales.

Nearly every load I pulled out of Sweetwater was heavy! Did not bother me much though, I had purchased the weight tolerance permit for my truck personally, so I could take the truck to the house loaded. Our place is on a weight limited road.

I guess they knew I had the permit, so when loading me for a run to the house, through San Antonio, they would put the extra on it. That permit came in handy for running in Texas.

Basicly my FM wanted me to train , As he is one of the types of FM"s that pushes for trainer teams , And when I took the course to train he was super nice ,And was super nice when I picked up my first student .
Well I couldn't take babysitting havinging to clean up the truck after slobs ,And a handfull of near death experiences that could only occour from a brain dead person who has no business operating a schwin much less a big truck , So I stepped down from training , And my FM was pissed ...in the weeks after I stepped down from training I kept getting put back as an active trainer ,and being sent student Pick up info , And kept saying HELL NO , and going through the entire argument with my FM of not training , And then for weeks after my pay kept going back to trainer pay showing a .02CPM deduction per mile ,and when I would call in I was told by my FM he was keeping listed asa traininr ...JUST IN CASE I CHANGED MY MIND ...During this time they dropped my miles down to nothing ,and kept giving me loads that only a team can deliver , And I would call my FM ,and ask what's up with this I'm not making any money here , and he would tell me if you ONLY HAD A STUDENT ON THE TRUCK ...in 2.5 years of driving with them I had 2 preventables parking lot non dot totaling $100.00 in damage , And one of them never happened , But Werner put it on my DAC regardless...And a few Non preventables I hit 2 Deer in the hills , Got hit by a dumbass at at T/A , and My qualcom screwed up a few times showing me driving while I was parked on my 10 HR earning me a couple log violations , And this which was accumulated over 2.5 years is what they used to justify my termination ,Which was really just a very bruised dispatchers ego .

Notes on training at Werner... A trainer is docked .02CPM why this 2CPM is deducted has never been answered by Werner .

Werner trucks that are designated as trainer team trucks are completely covered if they wrecked by student or trainer by the government.

And of course the government pays the $325.00 weekly salary to the student while teaming with his trainer (free miles) for Werner.
