TMC is hiring. Freight is heavy, that's why we us tractor/trailers. If you are asking if it is busy right now, it is a little slow. It happens every year about this time.

What a trainer. I did use him for an example of what NOT to do as a trainer.

Finally the last week I was with him, he was actually driving.....just to the donut shop, and he wrecked the truck. I told him he should get back in the sleeper where he belonged.
Just the type of trainer that the company loves....worthless.

No, my guy was a hard-ass but a good trainer. Was this Carbuagh dude from around Altoona? I recently had a trainee that was "fired" by his trainer and was to be evaluated by me. If the trainee was forthright, these guys seemed familiar. The trainee made the cut and is now in his truck.
Yes, he was from the Altoona area. Actually between Altoona and Breezewood. He was quite an idiot.
Was his name Mike perhaps? May be the guy. Vewwy intewesting.

The very short story.....

My 2nd trainer is the best,good guy,answers questions,has fun,wont push you
too hard.Any new guy in the Philly/allentown area would be blessed to have him.

Due to break downs and the issues that came with them I no longer work
for TMC.I did not quit I was let go,fired what ever you want to call it.My FM
was a large part of the problem as he just did not care.I had hi hopes for
TMC but I guess it was not ment to be.The whole story is very long winded
and Im sure it would just turn into a pounding on me if I posted it.I did the best I could for them and did any thing asked of me.To me TMC failed me I did not fail them.

I put an app in over the Internet. It’s been a week and 2 days and nothing yet. Should I just keep waiting or should I call them? I have just over 2 years of CDL-A and CDL-B exp, about 50/50 with both. No flatbed... I can drive a tractor with a 53' trailer like I have been driving for years. Do you think I have a good chance of getting through the training quicker than most?

87 isn't that bad and is enough to get you in a Peterbilt.
