I picked up a load of WB from Georgia-Pacific in Sweetwater, TX. I am pulling a 53' trailer right now. They loaded me with five stacks. That is the most I have hauled out of there. I though I was overweight, my guages said it was close. I have a new truck, so I couldn't tell for sure. I asked them what their proceedure was and was told they didn't take anything off. They said they had an agreement with TMC to haul up to 50K pounds per trailer. Well, I don't have a Texas overweight permit. So I notified my FM and safety. My FM said I was covered for any portable scales, but not any permanent weigh stations. So, route around them. I said OK, but I was saving the qualcomm message directing me to do so in case I was stopped for avoiding the scale. Safety never got back with me. Anyway, I weighed at the first CAT Scale I came to, I weighed 80,020 pounds. So, 20 or so miles down the road I am good to go. I just won't fuel before I deliver.

Hey,
I am a recent graduate and I am interested in TMC. I live in Montana and I know they have Terminal in Coure d' Alene. Does anyone know if they do any hiring out of that location or is it strictly Des Moines? I sent in an online application about a week ago and have not heard back. I was thinking maybe I am a bit too far away from Iowa. Creek

Just don't sit there. But, that is just me.
