Schneider bought our (Cardinal Logistics) WalMart P&D account here in Loma Linda. Completed the takeover last Friday.

I hate to break up the conspiracy theorists, but I have five weeks of thread to catch up on here.

I have averaged quite well pay wise running the past five weeks, but kept getting the "No freight going your way" line. I do understand that though, because Maine is still buried under several feet of SNOW, in fact it is SNOWING RIGHT NOW on the first day of SPRING. Nobody in Maine has done anything for the past two months except move and remove snow, so building supply purchases are nonexistent. The upside is that I get five days off now over a holiday weekend. Now if I only had a snomobile I would actually have some time to use it, not sure I could afford the gas though.

Diesel is $4.15 here in Maine today march 20th at 7am EDT, we do have a high refundable tax though.
I have a suggestion for the Democrats running for office. Instead of harping on about ruining our health care system how about proposing free gas and diesel for everyone. Voters would flock to that like flies to honey, or is it vinegar? (Anyone caring to discuss the previous statement please start a new thread, or direct me to the proper one, thanks)

I am sad to see you go Von. We never connected on the road, but perhaps now that you are in one fixed place we might have better luck. I won't hold my breath though. I missed you by a day in Joplin, but I didn't stop anyway as I was scheduled at the Indy tarp shop. By the way does this seem like another pointless waste of time having to get an appointment to get your tarps patched which they will conveniently lose if they want to?

So I guess that leaves Shadowsknight, TerryLamar, and Myself as the veteran TMC drivers on this thread. I have Terry beat by a few weeks in seniority, but if I remember correctly Shadowsknight has more.

I managed to avoid getting the lane deperture system installed at Joplin for my service a few weeks ago. I am not sure why since the tech even mentioned that he had to install it, but then didn't. I am annoyed because they gave me a BS bad truck appearance directing me to "organize my personal items" Ron the safety guy even agreed that it was a judgement call. They reinspected and passed me with no changes on my part. I believe they are still annoyed at me from my last service when their "it will be done in a couple hours" lie repeated ten or eleven times slightly ticked me off. The other possibility is that they are trying to cut costs by taking away points from drivers. I will leave you to form your own conclusions, and advise you to keep your truck spotless.

Seems like I had some other things to say, perhaps they will come to me as soon as I hit "submit"

Default TMC

U would think Ol' Al Schneiders Schneider National could buy TMC when they generated 3,700,000,000 last year in revenue. Or Jerry Moyes at Swift who's Co generated 3,172.800,000 in 07' if TMC choose to do so. one thing for sure it would give the Annett's alot more time for racing :!:
