I forgot to mention that I was the victim of a minor hit and run parking accident sometime Sunday morning. I awoke to find a dented left steer hubcap and several crumpled chromem lugnut covers. About $30 worth of damage all together. I waited until monday to call safety about it, and they didn't seem all that worried, simply filled out the report and wished me a good day. I went through the Des Moines wash bay today and they replaced those chrome lug nut covers with no questions asked, so if anyone else loses one or two you don't need to call safety about it, just visit the wash bay. You may wish to remove damaged ones and claim that they just fell off, or were stolen if you dingle them.

And whither then? I cannot say.

I see 2 roller bearing that went crunch. Am I missing anything else? Or is that from a gear that connects the two in the middle of the pic?
honestly, I'm not sure. my trainer was depressed, we had to get a new truck and he lost his beloved KW

I saw a TMC truck on the road for the 1st time today. It was traveling east on I-195 at the RI/MA border heading to Cape Cod. What a great looking rig.

This driver had this Peterbilt spitshined. It looked liked the truck came right off the lot. Probably a 2007.

I saw a TMC on I-91 in Holyoke MA this afternoon, dont see to many in these parts.

I finally got a test date for my CDL. This Sunday at 7 am I'll be going face to face with a Mass State trooper for an hour and half. I know the stuff cold manuvers brake test and pretrip. But I might get nervous.

After I get my license on Sunday, I'm calling TMC first thing Monday.

That's one of the good things about driving in Taxachusetts: most of the scale houses and weigh stations are closed down.

And on the downside is the lack of full service truck stops in Massachusetts.

Seen on a men's room wall on the turnpike:

"Here I sit on the pooper, giving birth to a Mass state trooper."

Good luck

We were working a wreck on I-35 yesterday afternoon just south of MM174. A TDC van blew a right front tire and layed it up and over on a 45 degree slope. Its in the constuction zone there.Driver lucky to escape with minor cuts and bruises. Anyway a TMC rig caught my eye while we were there. It was truck # 81403. He was southbound with what looked like a load of water pipe.Hope the accident didn't hold too many of you up. We had to back up our rigs about a 1/2 mile to get to the off ramp since we were southbound in the northbound lanes to get to the wreck. Of course all one lane with concrete center barriers with no turn arounds available.
