If it werent for flatbedders, van drivers wouldnt have a dock to back into! Right?

Hey guys!

i just arrived in Des Moines about an hour ago. I'm here to meet Von, and start my training... FINALY!! The drive was loooonnnggg... 19hrs, but still better than a greyhound. Thank god, that company policy is that once you're in, you never have to take the greyhound again...

Born, if you wanna hang out, PM me...

Cheers

BND

When do you actually go out? I'll be starting back sometime on Sunday. I usually try to take off early in the morning and don't leave until later that evening.

Really? Must've changed since I was there.

Still, what about the bungees? Does anyone know?

They are trying new bungees, pre crimped. No old ones left at the mother ship.

I really prefer my old TMC bungees. I have a huge collection of them from the old days, but they won't last forever. Really wondering what brand they are. The kind Passmore sells to us (yes, we have to buy them) just don't have much stretch to them.

I don't know if it has changed or not, but we were told that once you are hired (after orientation is over with) and you have to get some kind of ride (like noone you know can take you) they'll get a rental car. You may have to share it with two other people en-route, but you do get to drive.

Sitting 37+ hours on a bus didn't appeal to me...

Cheers
