Gotta do what I gotta do but sure would be nice to have one close. Thanks for any replies and all the good info on here.
if you call recruiting or training, they should be able to tell you. you can even call the columbia terminal and see if they know. hope this helps some.

Does anyone know of any trainers in the charlotte or greensboro nc areas. I know I could ask my recruiter but you guys and gals have helped all the other newbs so I am bound and determined to get one of you to help me.

So please someone help me.

And yes I am pouting
I am more than happy to respond, unfortunately, I can provide no useful information.

Dose anyone know about TMC Northeast division, I have been on flatbed's Fred site and has sum good information, But it does not talk about how long you have to be OTR before you can in this area. Does seem like TMC is a good company to start my driving career with, Just wish I could bring my dog for the ride. Thanks Chef Trev
I went to Nettts (CT) and am in my 4th week with my trainer. I, too found it near impossible to get a decent job in my area (without 1-2 yrs exp), so I chose to go OTR with TMC. So far, I am happy.........I can't wait to get into my own truck and making some decent $$. A lot of drivers I spoke to hate driving in the northeast, so hopefully that can help folks like us get home easier.

good luck jeff

how is everyone doing? well i am stuck in fresno, ca. it seems that some folks cant understand that a forklift cant lift a 5200lb ac unit. let alone 3 of them. so i have to sit and wait for a crane to come out sometime tommorrow. but at least i will get paid for sitting and i got a hotel room. so anyway, did everyone hear that xm and siruis have merged? should be a little better now.

Well ifn you got to be stuck it's better in Fresno then in Snow....

I'm notsure what I think about the XM/Sir. merger... I hope that they don't get the idea of runnin up the sub. rates now that there isn't any competition..

we BTDT on the forklift verses crane adventure...
someppl can't add far enought to understand that large weight = needs a heavyduty lifter

I am debating between going flatbedding with TMC and Werner. Werner appeals to me b/c of their beautiful blue trucks and I love blue!

Any advice on the decision?

mf2004champ, TMC's trucks are much nicer than Werner's even if you don't like black. The pay is better also, much better.

Pretty trucks are great and all that but you need to do some research beyond who has the prettiest trucks and see who has the best company. And between the two you mentioned it's TMC hands down.
