Well Ohio State beat Arkansas because the Hogs had their heads up their asses the first half. And when Ryan Mallett decided to quit worrying about his NFL future and start playing college football the Buckeyes already had it put away.

I figured I would bump this one, instead of making a new one. (if that's ok) Same stuff...different year
What do yall think about Boise and Georgia? My gut thinks that UGA should be able to knock this one out, but Boise has beaten some good D1 schools.
I think Oregon and LSU will be a good one. Probably for the ducks.
Baylor and TCU should be good. I'm not worried about Baylor's offense, but will their defense hold up? At the same time, with Dalton, and Curley, and the others gone, will TCU still rock n roll or will this year be a 'rebuild' year?

Boise over UGA and probably in a big way. Boise still has the playmakers to make 1 more push for the title game.
Oregon is a stomping.
TCU should pull this one out on the strength of their D. The D is going to have to carry them this year until they find a new leader on offense.

I'm going to go Boise over UGA, Oregon over LSU, and Baylor over TCU. I think Griffin will be the difference for Baylor.

Speaking of Griffin, if he was in the SEC, I believe he would be in the Heisman race. I think it would be hard to pull that off at Baylor.

I agreee 1000%. He's a GREAT athlete and probably 75-80% of the reason they are where they are. There defense has stepped up big time but Griffin is THE difference.

Without Griffin, Baylor is dead in the water. Hope Art Briles finds someone to replace him and quickly.

I know it was "just" UNLV, but Wisconsin looked pretty darn good. They have a stud backfield, with Ball and Hill at running backs, and the transfer from NC State, I think his name was Wilson, at QB was pretty studdly too. Their offensive line looked great also.

I can't stand Wilson, he alone stomped us, UNC, while at NC State. Kid can sling the ball.

I'm sure he will. I believe Briles can put Baylor on the map. He's already changed the program from terrible to good. Art Briles knows his stuff. I remember when he coached at Stephenville high school, and he had 4 state titles in 4A, in an 8 year period. I know it's a big difference between high school football, and D1 football, but if Briles can bring in good players, he might just see more bowl games. Briles' only setback is that these high school superstars in Texas have 3 choices. OU, OK St, and UT. Well, TCU has done well in recruiting, but they're not in the Big 12.
I was flipping back and forth last night on the radio. It's funny how all the games last night were ranked teams, and they all played cupcakes.
What about Kentucky??? They barely got by Western Kentucky. :hellno: And I thought maybe Murray St was going to have a chance against Louisville.
I saw some highlights this morning, and Wilson did look good. I believe Wisconsin will have a good run in the Big 10 (that's not saying much, but you know what I mean )
