I know there are allot of beautiful places in Oregon! It is a shame that it is so messed up! Along time ago I camped at Silver Falls near Salem for a few weeks. I hope Eugene is not as messed up as Medford but I am hearing more and more that Oregon is not very freindly to outsiders.

My husband is actually staying about 30 miles outside of Eugene.

Welcome to the thread! And a big thank you for your positive input and your kind words about my babies. My big baby is now 6'1. He has a drivers permit and I do not know how people do it who train other drivers. The other day he went to get over in a lane without looking :shock: :shock: He said but mom I put my turn signal on! Man what a nerve racking experience. I explained the facts about looking before you get over. He was shook up when the car he almost cut off honked at him.

Thank you and your husband for the wishes on the appeal. We do not want a conviction for Second Degree Criminal Mischief on his record and I believe it will be more difficult to get expunged, also we do not want any drivers license suspension on his record.

I believe it should have just been an insurance issue as Davis and May have both said it should have been. This whole process has amazed me. I just find it difficult to believe that it could have passed through the judge and that the DA would accept it without my husband's signature and papers that he did sign stated he would accept a Third Degree. It is hard to believe that an attorney would do this also! I am seriously thinking of getting my records the college in CA and see what I would need to complete my degree to become a paralegal.

The children and I picked up my husband last night around 9:30 p.m.....He left this afternoon around 2:00 p.m. It was a short visit but nice. My son and I got a lesson on how to start the weed whacker this afternoon. I remember attempting to start a pull mower years ago for hours without success, and since then I only play with electric tools, but I actually started the weed whacker today :shock:

I asked him about falling trees as we need a few done but I will not mess with his chainsaw. I have an electric one that works fine!

He had to leave as he is planning on making his drop sometime Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see where his next load will take him.....which way he will be going.
