Well that facility in Norwood MA was where I loaded on Wednesday, just two days ago. I have been after this run for a year now since I first learned about it. My house is only 15 miles out of route on the Norwood MA to Bangor ME run, and on peak that store gets one load a day. I have gone through my fleet manager several times to get me on that division with no result. I inquired with the manager at Norwood while I was there and he told me that freight was extremely slow for them right now, and he didn't have enough work for the drivers he currently had. I asked him to keep me in mind and told him I would check back with him in a couple of months. Then this morning he called me and had already checked with Des Moines and I am all set to report to him on Tuesday. One thing I have learned about TMC is that when they want to do something it gets done in a big hurry.

Now regarding the rumors: I have heard several things, from Tim Annett is taking a sabbatical for his health, to he got arrested for embezzling about $90 million. The driver rumor mill is rarely entirely correct, or entirely wrong, so take your pick.

And whither then? I cannot say.

"So I guess that leaves Shadowsknight, TerryLamar, and Myself as the veteran TMC drivers on this thread. I have Terry beat by a few weeks in seniority, but if I remember correctly Shadowsknight has more. "

I'm still better looking! Anyway, I don't consider myself a veteran at TMC with a little over a year experience.

I hope it turns out to be what you wanted. They have a special pay program for dedicated accounts, either mileage or a reduced percentage. The account I was on paid almost $500.00 a week less than if I were on line haul running those loads on percentage.

I just crossed over into 2 years. It sure was nice of my FM to tell me Happy Anniversary on tuesday cause I wasn't sure what my actual hire date was.

Terry it was great to finally meet you a few weeks ago. Anyone know what happened to goin for broke. Last time I saw him he was on our former trainers truck. (our..being mine and Terry's former trainer Billy Bennett)

As far as the Joplin terminal inspections.....there is no rhyme or reason to what they do. 1 time I was there and was told don't bother washing my dirty truck because it would only get dirty again on their lot. My shelves were a mess and there was mud on my floor and I got no probs with my inspection and then another time the guy that did the inspection asked me to organize all of the mags that I had thrown on the top bunk before he would pass me. The rest of the truck was spotless. I'm just glad that I have only been there 4 times in 2 years.

Those same rumors made it all the way to Texas as well as the fact that TMC filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Can anyone confirm that as fact and not speculation?
