I did a search with Iowa Federal District Court for Bankruptcy file by Annett Holdings, Inc. and TMC. There was nothing listed from Jan to today. I, now, think it is a rumor only.

There you go, takes a Texan to be smart about this.

Yeah I think I will be on salary now, and you are dead on about the rate, if I could have those runs on percentage and line up a backhaul which I KNOW is available then I would rake in the dough. And I know the backhaul is available because one of the local sawmills has several daily deliveries to that same distribution center.

I heard a driver state "...a TMC driver told me they were closing the doors on Monday".

Of course this was on the c.b. coming thru Birmingham on Thurs....so of course I laughed it off.

If it WERE true I figured I'd read it right here FIRST.

Hey Rawlco, one of my old trainees is starting at hd on 4/1. His name is Wayne. Tell him I said "hey". Big guy with a Mass accent. You have to get home as they only run day cabs out of Norwood.

Will do Von. I am keeping my sleeper cab 91939 right now. They don't have an extra daycab to give me. I might not get home everyday until May when the Bangor Home Depot gets a load everyday. But it should be great anyway.

My fleet manager was sad to see me go, and let me know that if things didn't work out with this assignment he would be glad to have me back on his fleet. I guess the pain of getting me home wasn't worth it.

Some people dont, or cant use thier brains. I no longer am with TMC, but I also know, with Harold personally seeing the company from 1972 to today, he is not just gonna throw it away. Filing bankruptcy does not mean the company just closes its doors, unless it chooses to do so. Most companies will re-structure debt, cut some corners, etc

Doesnt anyone think that if they were filing for bankruptcy, the drivers would still be tossing $$ in the toilet every week for truck washes? I have been through companies that went chapter 11, and THINGS CHANGE BIG TIME. Since the 20 or so drivers I still talk to with TMC, all say its still same as usual, it leads me to believe that most people who claim a company is going "bankrupt" dont even know what the term means, or how much money they even have in thier own checking account.

Rawlco, I had the same sap story from my FM, before going dedicated, but they dont care, they see so many drivers every month, they cant get too personal. I bet youll like the dedicated side more. Goodluck

I'm still better looking! Anyway, I don't consider myself a veteran at TMC with a little over a year experience.
All depends on your hire date Terry. I am going over 2 yrs on the 31st of March
