Have you found out more about that parking spot up in Jersey? I have one in south Jersey, but that's 1.5 hours away from home, whereas the Tappan Zee is about 30 minutes... PM me some details please...

Cheers

There is TMC parking available in Kearny, NJ is that's any help. Call me for more info if you like.

I'm in week three, out on the road. I'm killing time waiting for a load. I'm in Circuit City borrowing their equipment.

We delivered on Copper Plating on Sunday night in McKinney. They recive 24/7 so we though we were ahead of the game. We were dispatched Monday morning at 0300, hot damn, for once it was going our way. We arrived at the shipper to find out the load was not ready and would not be until Tuesday sometime. Caca! We bounced to Wright City, OK to pick up a load of lumber. Everything went ok, just a lot of wasted time. Were we are off to next I don't know.

I'm looking forward to the next three weeks, when we run team and I can really put in some miles.

The fuel department, hahahahahahahaha, ur so funny.
My trainee doesn't make me crap myself when he is driving, he has Sprint broadband, so I kill time. It isn't easy to type while in the jumpseat but...what the heck else is there to do.

Good Luck!

Remember, it's all about the "tude" at the Mother Ship. If your signature is any indication you will do well.

Default Virginia and Tenn.

So I'm possibly getting back into the trucking industry. The sheriff's office I work for is having massive lay-offs and loss of half the budget, so it might be back to the road for me. I'm wondering if TMC would be a good company to run with based out of Ashburn Va., since that's where my brother lives and I'm thinking of re-locating there. Also, he is planning on moving to near Bristol Tenn. within the next year or so. Anyone live near these two areas and drive for TMC? I ran otr for Gordon, ran local for a while, and ran regional flat-bed on dedicated Lowes lumber acct. Also, anyone know what kind of refresher (length-wise) that TMC might require? I've been off the road for about a year and 3 months, but I still drive dump and low-boy for a friend about once a month (dump w/18 spd, lowboy semi w/18 spd). Any info is greatly appreciated.

You should be fine for TMC's Line Haul division and qualify for their home weekends program. I'm sending you a PM. Call me with any questions.
