Picked up my truck yesterday, picking up my first load Thursday morning and then going to the house for a couple of days. Could have left today with a company run to Laredo, but my FM called with this load. Have you ever been to TAMKO? Try to be first in line so you can be loaded first. You can just make it to SA in one day. Time will be tight so don't fool around. Call me if you have never been there before. You have to weigh, park, then check in with shipping. You will be loaded in the order in which you check in. So be sure you check in early. You will have to tarp that load. If it is double stacked you may have to use your V-boards on the top stack and strap in down before you pull outside to secure the load. As soon as you are loaded they will give you the packing list, take that back to shipping and they will give you your BOL. My point, if it wasn't clear, is if they load you early, and you don't delay, you can, just, make it to SA in one day.

I was more than a little worried about you because I haven't heard from you for so long and you hadn't posted. I don't have any PM's, check to see if you sent them properly. I have your phone number on the truck and I'm at home right now.

We were at the yard about 0730 to get the company car to take the rental back to Springfield. Got back and started processing around 1100. Will be at TAMKO early in the morning, so I can get home tommorow evening. May even head over there tonight after the sun goes down, to make sure I am first in line. Sorry I missed you in Joplin. I have made the run from Joplin to home before, with about an hour to spare when I was with Stevens. Like you say, it is tight, but can be done.

My wife says it is still raining off and on at the house. My truck turn-a-round is a huge mud puddle, so when I get home Thursday night, I will have to back into the drive way instead of pulling straight in. No big deal though. The rain is suppose to stop tonight, at least that is what they are saying. Hope so, sure do not want to spend my hometime couped up in the house.

Just saying hello to all and hope all is well with everyone. Monday is my girlfriend's court case for child custody of her son against her soon to be X-husband. Wish us luck!!!
Also, if ANY truckers happen to be in the Queens New York vicinity and see an overweight, bleached blond a$$-hole of a man with too many tatoos crossing the street on his way to court Monday morning, I'd be forever in your debt if you ran him over..... TWICE.
