Default TRAINING @ the M/S

Day three is done.
The videos and Pictures are a sobering and reflective thought.
Everyone and I mean everyone drive carefully and defensively.
I would say dont be afraid, but have a very healthy respect for that which can change your whole career in a split second.

Guess you just been through Austin's "Be careful or be dead" class. NEVER forget what you saw and learned there today...... NEVER.

Default TMC Streets and Trip Map

As you might know, I have put all the TMC truck stops into as Streets and Trips Map, which if you want a copy, PM me with your e-mail and I will send it to you.

I am going to start adding the TMC drop lots, places where we can sleep if needed. These are kind of a secret, you don't find one unless you pick up a preloaded trailer or happen upon it. As you know these lots can be lifesavers when you are dog tired and the truck stops and rest areas are full.

If you go to one, or know where one is...send me the address of the lot. I will start adding them to the file. I have added the John Deere drop lot in Bowmansville, (Depew), NY. In order to hit the map perfectly I need the actual street address or business name. If you have a mapping program, you can usually mark the coordinates within your program; just send them to me.

In DSM this weekend.

Thanks,

" Celebration time come on " I got the pre hire card in the mail from Laura in DSM... Very soon I'll be shining the fenders of my own TMC big black pete.

I know it's not the final ok but it's a good place to start.

It was exciting. We got in Tuesday and got out ASAP, 4" snow pack on the frikken road, after they plowed, from Fulton north. Since then they have had ANOTHER 60" on top of the 40" b4 we got there!!!

Sounds like a good training run for a trainee, drive thru the worst of the worst winter weather, lake effect squalls. At least you got in and back out before it piled up to 9 feet, heard it could reach 12 feet by Monday. Have a safe one.
