Poorboy
That's is incorrect info, I advise you to call into me on monday and I can tell you how the training and pay program works. What Freddy syas is correct in the fact that you can make top pay after 1 full month in a truck.
Matt
Freddy-What's up????? Haven't heard from you in awhile.

TMC - I wish I could remember the womans name I talked to, I will tell you that I swear by all that is holy that she told me exactly what I posted. PM me your contact info and I will call you Mon.
Fred - I was hoping you would see what I was told because I was in shock when she told me since I have been on your site numerous times and thought I knew what to expect from the recruiter. I'll get with TMC on Monday.

I met a Werner flatbed driver when delivering some pipe in New Mexico. Obese and one arm missing. Flatbed is not that difficult to do and it certainly doesn't keep you in shape with the minimal amount of physical activity involved.

No BND. Being in orientation at Des Moines sux! Especially getting up so early on the weekend! Glad to hear that things are going well so far. Lost any of your classmates yet? I see they moved pretty fast using the simulators. We were the first guinea pigs for them and they sucked the first time, because the bugs weren't worked out yet. The real trucks shift a lot easier, so if you did well on the simulator, then you'll be just fine on Mon. when you hit the road. I've heard from a couple of my classmates who hit the road for their first week of training and they're doing well. One said that a wet lumber tarp is a good workout and the other has seen 10 states so far, and was at Des Moines in a line for a wash and fuel. I'm heading out this weekend with my trainer. It sucks being a week behind my classmates, but I still got paid!

Too funny BND. You actually took a picture of my truck. It's the one on the right without the plate.

Steel toes are not required the firast week Monday, thru Thursday. You can have sneakers on, or work shoes, or dress shoes. Onc you go to load securment on Friday-sunday you'll need to have work boots on. Requirements are: Steel toe basicly, but i have one that's slip resistant, electrical hazard safe, and has a notch on the back of it, so it won't interupt driving, and won't kill the back of your foot..
