Not sure how accurate IE2006's predictions are when there are a dozen spelling errors in his last couple of posts alone.
Considering 80% of this country's freight and raw materials are moved by truck. A 40% decrease in trucks would certainly throw a monkey wrench into the works don't you think? Guess the CEO's of large companies will find a use for their large SUVs after all.... Picking up the slack left when the big trucks are gone. :lol:
And yes, the 80% figure WAS pulled out of thin air. :wink:

Goldies/Von: does TMC offer vacation pay? nothing is going to stop me from going to Mexico next year. gotta go see RUSH at least once this summer too, probably have to book a weekend show.

yes, TMC does have vacation pay..
they take your last 52 weeks pay, divide that by 52,
that will be your gross pay for your vacation week...

If you're talking abour 600 truck outfits...Rush Trucking out of Michigan shut down on Monday. 650+ trucks. Richardson Trucking out of Virginia somewhere closed their doors yesterday, I believe. There's another 600+ truck outfit.

If anyone thinks the biggies are safe, I'd keep watch. There's some big things in the works right now.
