His ARCA race at home, Iowa Speedway in Newton, the announcers were gushing over his race and how he bounced back from an early spin along with sitting on the pole in his very first ARCA start earlier this year. He is not your clean cut racer with the personality that he showed on TV that night and that will hurt him if he ever wants to go further along in racing. He should have been happy as heck in his first ever ARCA race in finishing Top 5 with what he went thru, instead he was pissed off and complaining.
Shadows, where did they race this week??

They sent out a message on the QC letting everyone know the race time and all, but finishing TQM was more important than watching the race. Was luck of the draw getting in the class anyhow! Glad Michael did well! There are times when I miss the racing world, then I remember the headaches and politics with running a full series schedule. I still love racing, just not being at the track!
The master plan for me is to have my shop built in the next 1 to 1 1/2 and start building cars, bodies and interiors again. I do miss welding and fabricating those machines.

Thought I'd drop by to say "Hello" to all my old friends on here. I'm getting the driving bug BAD again but don't want OTR just yet. lol What do you guys think about heavy haul towing? There's a NICE company here with quite a few MONSTEROUS trucks that look bad a$$ and appear big enouh to pull down a building. Anyone know how they pay or what's involved with that end of the business? I drove light-duty "car-type" tow trucks BEFORE I worked for TMC and loved it so I was thinking since I'm a "Super Trucker" now (lol lol lol) that maybe driving one of these would be fun.
Any opinions???

Any opinions??? If the guys you are looking at handle mainly equipment locally, it could be a good fit for you, many others even running regional can have you away from the house for several days. Good to see ya in the group. Horseman

Any opinions??? After seeing the results of the storm and tornado that went through Brooklyn, I would suggest you look for a truck that has pontoons on the side.

Same old crap! Always heading or setting in the wrong place when you need to get home.
I am home anytime I want to be home. I just ask and they get me there. Why do you have to suffer because the planners have their heads up there butts? If you continue to put up with it that's you fault. there is no reason for it and I would NEVER put up with it. |
