Well, I'm am pleased to say that I just received a message on the machine saying that I should call the orientation 800 number after I graduate within 2 weeks. I would assume that it means I have been pre-hired!
It is a relief b/c I've been reading TMC turns down alot of their applicants. I take my driving test May 5, so I will most likely be attending orientation on May 14. I'm looking forward to a great future with TMC.

If I might comment on some of the items in the question list and some other things.
A ways back someone made a disparaging remark about Michael Annett and the fact that the company sponsors his team. I met him last summer. He is one of the most mature and gracious 21 year old men that I have met. He was courteous and respectful to all the drivers at the driver at the event. Mr. Annett must have done a good job raising his boys. Even if the company is spending money sponsoring the team, so what. Auto racing, especially stock car racing is a great marketing tool. Every NASCAR fan knows exactly what the sponsor is for their favorite driver, I would guess that the same might go for ASA. There are other sponsors for the TMC race car, not just TMC. Michael Annett is a talented driver. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it to the bigs someday. Lastly, TMC and AHI are privately held companies. Harold built the darn company. If he wants to buy his son a small country, it is no business of ours. The broker thing. Some loads obviously don't pay the company a profit. I have seen loads that pay less to the truck than it costs to run it; forget about company overhead. Again, if TMC wants to make a profit, much in the same way every trucking company does...so what? We live in a free capitalist economy. Is it wrong to make a profit, grow the company, and ultimately benefit us all? I have seen the BOL's with the different than the money to the truck. So what if TMC/AHI makes a better profit this year than it did last? What has Harold done with his profits? He buys companies, equipment, grows the company, and hires more people. That's how business works my friends.

But good luck on your driving test and at getting hired with TMC.

TMC,
Thank you for your response. I may be misinformed but I am sure you are familiar with the AHI Rate and Tarif guide that I have refered to. I came across this pdf file 2 years ago doing research online on TMC when I was considering them at that time. This is what I base my claim of $80 tarp fee which is stated in that document. I would assume that you will say that TMC does not calculate rates based on Rand McNally Practical miles either, again based on what the Rate and Tarif guide states. It is also obvious that you can verify that I have indeed worked for TMC based on the fact that you address me by my first name. I want to ask you, based on the miles that I drove and the time that I was out voluntarily would you say that the compensation that I recieved was adequate for a driver with almost 4 years experience? Perhaps you can answer another personal question for me also. I empted in Sacramentio CA on 03/14/07. My next load was for 03/15/07 in Pittsburg CA. I stayed at the 49er truckstop over night which is paid parking. I was told by my FM that it would be reimbursed as there are no other options for parking in that area. I just recieved the reciept and it was denied per Gary McBride. Is this just another example of a company that nickle and dimes its drivers or did someone drop the ball? At this point trust me $12 does not mean anything. I am also interested in the official answers from the company to my questions. I am biased but I know that you have lost a good experienced driver in myself. Perhaps TMC is best suited for new drivers with no experience in the industry. But I can say this much and I am not alone in this opinion after speaking with several drivers that do have experience in the industry, TMC is not a good fit for experienced drivers.
