thanks.

With Peterbilt discontinuing the 379, what is TMC going to replace them with the 388 or 389, just wondering? The count down to DSM has begun. Chef Trev

The only thing I know is that Mr. A doesn't like the 386. I would guess that we would stay with the more traditional look.
You got a date for DSM?

Just finished first week!
1487 miles. All lumber loads.
I am ded to the world haha.
Driving with O/O who's been in the guard for 25 yrs and a trainer for 7 at TMC in a 99 freightshaker w/ a slipping 8th gear makes for great
1 sided conversation. Very TOUGH and I mean VERY TOUGH week. Not the work but the trainer yelling in my ear and my lack of being able to down shift makes for a very good 1 sided converstation too. SIR YES SIR!
But its wonderful day when you wake up in DisneyLand. (5 for fighting)

Yeesh. Nothing like being yelled at for something you have never done, is very hard to learn, and scares the pi$$ out of you.

Ahhhh your trainer's probably just pi$$ed that he owns a piece of $hit truck. Don't take it personally! Before long, you'll have your OWN ride and maybe in 6-7 months, your OWN trainee to yell at.
Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Default Trucker Buddy

Hey Drivers,

I don't know if you have ever heard of a thing called Trucker Buddy. It is an organization that puts a school class and drivers together. You send them letters, pictures, and postcards. They send you letters and such. I have a sixth grade, special ed class in Butler, NJ. I am having a great time with it.

If you are interested in the program, you can check it out at http://www.truckerbuddy.com/

I thought TMC only wanted O/O's with late-model, good looking trucks. I've seen some real clunkers lately here in Tejas.
