you know what is funny???? This site seems to be very "pro" TMC, which is cool because I am very interested in them. Yet on another site, it is a 180 with almost nothing but negative comments.......

No real point here, just find it a little amusing

Yeah, we get tired of fighting the doom and gloomers, so we congregate in a positive place. If you have to fight with people all the time there really isn't any point now is there?

Almost done with training, next weekend at this time I should be testing for my own truck. I can't wait.

Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I noticed the same thing and I suspect both sets of opinions are totally correct . . .

Like any large company where the number of drivers forces the owner to delegate managerial authority and develop "rules and policies" . . . the company is either:

a) Awesomely terrific . . . or

b) It sucks.

Like they say, size matters.

Thank you Devildice.

I agree with you Frogman. I do not claim that some drivers may have had a horrible experience at TMC, but they just as easily would have had a horrible experience at Swift, Roehl, CFI, USA, Schneider, etc. There are very many drivers on this thread who have had a good experience at TMC, and that encouraged me. I have found that TMC is a great place to work and I enjoy every minute of it. (except for rolling tarps in the snow)

exactly.....it's the least the Navy can do for me after 22 years of service......and, after it's all done and said, I have a CDL class A with no contract looming over my head and didn't take a hit on my savings account.
