I know. Just thought I'd throw that in there. I agree, however - I'm guessing he isn't running a 48 state plate for that price.

Hate to burst your bubble Rev. Vassago, but their is just a " little bit " more involved than filing a " paper " and " paying a fee".....

What else is there? Do you also have to start a thread on CAD called "From desk to own authority"?

I'd like to introduce you to the apostrophe.
It's a handy little device that has three purposes:
1) to form possessives of nouns
2) to show the omission of letters
3) to indicate certain plurals of lowercase letters.

I'll expect you to chastise every other person who posts such information. Buh bye.

and why you are allways leased to some-one instead of being out on your own because you don't have the mental ability to do that ???

It doesn't require "mental ability" to get your own authority. In fact, getting your own authority is easier to do than getting leased on to Landstar.
Besides, what is so great about having your own authority? Seems to me that it just adds extra hassels that I don't have to deal with being leased on to Landstar. I never have to worry about getting paid, my trailer costs me $0, my permits are taken care of with no effort on my part, my IFTA taxes are filed for me, plus I have the added benefit of discounts on everything from fuel and tires to automobiles and software. And from what I've seen, I'm not earning any less than someone running their own authority pulling general freight.
I suppose GMAN doesn't have any mental ability either, since he was leased to LS. How about rank? Any mental ability there?

I am sorry Rev., but this gives me great pleasure.... it is spelled Hassles ....
