Looks like I hijacked Revs thread.
No matter, it was time for him to start Part2 anyway.

In the driver driven trucks it's currently ~$.88 For me it's $.73

The drivers drive 70+ mph with 475+hp 15L engines. I drive 60 with an 11L engine. But we don't drive the same routes either.

BTW...Quit picking on the Rev, before I go over there, and smack the snot out of you.

No problem. What you guys do behind a freightliner is nobodies' business. There you go rev. I used an apostrophe for your convenience.

Ouch! The first year I had my authority, my fuel cost was around 30 cents a mile.
I'll have to look it up .

Right now with fuel being 4 dollars a gallon, my cost is 61cents per mile.
500 Cummings N14.
I dont go much over 68MPH with it.
Load weights vary between 20,000-48000 ponds.

I run the NE, SE Midwest, sometimes even TX, when I know DD60 is not anywhere near. 8)

I don't know how you guys get the mileage you do. That's 6.5 miles per US gallon right? Our guys are getting 5 (winter) 44,000 - 50,000 lbs up and down I-81 through PA & NY....coming home empty! Fuel is currently $1.85 CDN/L here which I believe works out to $4.59 US dollars per US gallon.

I think you both are wrong on the nobody deal...

Nobodies is wrong.

Nobody's = nobody is, or belonging to a particular person as a possession

Nobodys' = realting to a group of people, more than one

Something tells me I'm drunk off too many comped R+C's, and I think I didn't even present the right term here

Rev- do they list show freight on the boards? Also, do they list what equipmemnt is required? (pads, straps, ramps, etc)I see a few (not many- but enough) Landstar trucks at the marshalling yards here in Vegas. One guy who I talked to the other day only hauls show freight and slot machines and does quite well.
