Someone who can't spell, but has the unmitigated gall to chastise another for a punctuation error.

Vassago all the way!

ROFLMAO!

Clearly your lack of punctuation and spelling ability will result in your complete failure as a truck driver.

Now once again I am not very good at the internet lingo of kids today but I believe I am supposed to say ROTFLMAO and then insult you?

You might want to throw a  in every once in a while too.

 Thanks, I am trying to become as proficient as some on this board but I keep fighting my inner "nice guy" nature.

Well, for what it's worth:

After some time off at home, I left back out yesterday with a load right out of my home town, delivering to Chicago. Easy run, and nice quick load and unload. I was having some issues with my batteries during my last tour of duty. It seemed like the truck was fighting to turn over. I ended up doing a lot of unnecessary idling because of it. I took the batteries into Peterbilt, and they said they were all within acceptable range. Brought them back to the truck, and installed them. It was then that I found that one of the posts on the oldest of the three batteries was loose. After a few sharp whacks with a hammer on the end of a screwdriver, it is nice and tight. I took the opportunity to go through the entire starting and charging system, making sure everything was bolted tight. The truck is starting fine now. I guess I had been running the truck on only two batteries. Throw my inverter on top of that (which is constantly on), and it made for a sticky situation.

Total miles: 187 (including my 1 mile deadhead)
Total days involved: 1
Total revenue: $482.35

I then deadheaded 32 miles to pick up my next load - 42,600 lbs of Ragu and noodles heading out to PA. Super fast loading - took me all of about 20 minutes and I was out of there. I deliver tomorrow morning at 2 am. It isn't going to a grocery warehouse, and there will be no breaking down of pallets.

This is the first time I've had my truck in the hills with a heavy load behind it, and it is pulling like a champ.

Total projected miles: 730
Total days involved: 1 1/2
Total revenue: $1496

Then I'm off for the weekend, and on Monday I'll pick up another one of those great paying military shipments.

I found out today that my front fenders for the truck are done. The body shop finally got the headlights mounted on them. Still waiting for the wing and the rear fenders to arrive, then the truck goes in.

Sauce AND noodles? That must be a special destination, like a restaurant storage or something. Just sauce or noodles would be normal.

It's going to Unilever, so I think it may be the ingredients for a Ragu product of some sort.

In a few short hours, they better have their dirty paws in my trailer unloading this stuff, so I can go get some sleep.
