until the Iranians use their own nukes.. Then the Iran supporters will of course pretend to be shocked, amaze and of course blame Reagan and GW...

 

Well..... I'm certainly NO supporter of Iran (at least the current regime,) but I truly WOULD be amazed and shocked if Iran, or any other little "one nuke" country, was ever stupid enough to commit nuclear suicide.

 

You might want to look a little more into the nutjobs that are running Iran and North Korea. They would have no issue with launching a nuclear strike on us or Israel because they could then run and hide behind the U.N., since they feel we are completely shackled by them. And you know what? They'd be right.

 

If you think that the MOMENT that the monkeys in Iran get a viable, deliverable nuke that they will not CAUSE it to be used against Israel, your just kidding yourself. And of course playing with millions of lives in the process.

 

And that's exactly the point, too. The only reason that Iran hasn't launched a nuke is because right now, they don't have them. When they do, they won't play the games that North Korea is playing. They'll launch it at Israel before the rivets are cold.

 

And by doing so, they'll sign their own death warrant. Either Israel or US will immediately retaliate with a full barrage of nukes. I just don't see them being that stupid.

Besides, IF they ever get one, we will be monitoring them like hawks. The minute their Command and Control goes into a launch mode, usually 1/2 hour or more before a launch can occur, the U.S. Navy will/could launch a pre-emptive nuke against them. I doubt they could get it off the ground.


First, they won't have the range to hit the U.S. North Korea just BARELY does, and they're directly across the North Pole from us.

Second, I'm "fairly" confident that our retaliation will be so swift and massive, that there will be no one left there to even place a phone call to the U.N.

Third, Dubya has already demonstrated that we are NOT shackled by the U.N. (which.... being in N.Y. would no longer exist either - if they successfully hit us.)

 

The more I think about this the worse my mind gets wadded up. :?

I don't think we need to nuke Iran. Bomb yes. Nuke no. The reason being is the fall out from the nukes that could make thousands of people sick that didn't have anything to do with it.

If Iran was stupid enough to launch a nuke it would be against Israel and the USA and Israel would launch a strike so quick the Iran wouldn't no what hit them.

 

Fozzy: I'm not saying we should "play with lives" or EVER allow them to HAVE a nuke. I just think that, if they somehow managed it, they would use it to "threaten" so they can get more concessions from us. I just don't think they are stupid enough to think they can launch it, and survive the backlash.

Unlike the old Soviet Union, they cannot even expect M.A.D. They know that we may lose a single city, but they will lose their entire country. It's a Lose - Win situation.

 

Again, you are not understanding the fanatical mindset of the people ove there. Iran's president has come right out and said TWICE that the Zionist state of Israel MUST be wiped off the face of the map. Even amidst threats of sanctions and action, he will not back down. The guy is so far over the edge of insanity, it's scary.

Bottom line, if Iran gets a nuke, they will attack Israel. Sure, Israel would retaliate and turn Iran into a 10,000 year no-parking zone. But that would play directly into their mindsets. They do not value human life, theirs or their families or friends, like you and I do. They maintain an almost fanatical belief that the more infidels and zionist oppressors they kill, the greater their reward. Imagine the thought process they go through considering what kind of reward they would get if they killed thousands of Israelis? In short, they have no reason not to launch a nuclear attack on Israel. In their minds, they have absolutely nothing to fear and everything to gain.

As far as Korea goes, that guy is a nutcase in a completely different vein. My guess is that he's Bipolar to the extreme. It'll take only one fit of uncontrolled rage for him to do something stupid. And North Korea's new long-range Tri-Dong-Poo-Flinger-Or-Something missle can hit the Western United states with little problem. Last article I read last summer about their program stated that the one they have been trying to test (unsuccessfully at that point), would be able to hit the entire United States.

Still, regardless of all that, if we were to get attacked by a nuke, do you honestly believe we'd have the brass cajones to retaliate with nukes? Bush might, simply because he's allegedly a "buckaroo". Congress, however, would wet their pants.

My personal feelings are that it's only a matter of time before we suffer a nuclear attack. And when we do, we'll watch in utter disbelief as our government forces our politically correct capitulation to whoever our attacker is, be it a country or a terrorist state.

And that's when you'll finally get your new American civil war.

 

I dont keep up on this news, :? yall will have to excuse my not-so intelligence about all of this. If there is gonna be a civil war over yonder, why dont our troops stop this Iran dude from destroying Israel? Like I said, I dont keep up on the news like I should, but I know my history.
