That all depends on what the insurance company thinks.
It's a BIG DEAL. It takes time to adjust to sleeping when the sun is up and being awake when the sun is down. Yes, traffic is lighter then during the day but also a lot more dangerous. I lost count of how any times in one night I get pushed onto the berm of the road because of a tired driver not keeping control of his/her truck. You may also find out that you are not a night owl and cannot stay awake all night. Some people just can't do it. BOL with Pyle and have patience.

although it was a smart ass way of saying it, i meant no disrespect. but if i was hiring you..i would think twice. questions to ask of you. what is the most time you spent doing nothing but sitting in the saddle driving? i ask this because that is what linhaul is, sitting there driving for 9-11 hours a night. no dumping, no seeing people out walking about. your freinds will be on the cb radio..and you may never actually see them in person, ever. how long did you drive at night? all linehaul jobs are probally 85%driving at night, or at least a large portion of night, i may be way off on that number, but you get the point. i am not trying to put you down the way you like to put down otr guys and there companies, but you are not qualified for the job. as for the app., the do not know if you are qualified till they get an app. i filled out an app. for them beore they they said i was out of their area...the recruiter told me they were expanding into ohio, i later found out they were not. filling out an app does not get you a job. i hope you can find a better job that hauling rocks...there is alot more money out tehre than what you see my friend. check out conway..they'll hire anybody. don't no one get their panties in a bunch, just a joke amoung fellow drivers.

Well JD you will be happy to know I Didn't get the job.
Reason- Never pulled a VAN. Hr lady called me a couple days ago said everything on my app. looked good. But she wanted to know which company I had listed that i pulled a VAN for. I told her i never pulled a VAN. Just Tankers and lowboys. She said they need 1 year Van exp. So i was SOL. O well thats the way it goes. BTW my inside help told her that i drive VANS now. That lying bastard. ![]() I guess i will stick with what i know best TANKERS, DUMPS & LOWBOYS. I think that rule is 1/2 ass backwards. But hey rules are rules. Thanks again for everyones help. Will post on the next company i try. One good thing from this i got my hazmat now.

Where are you gonna get the van experience? Do you know how hard it is to pull a van? There are TWO doors that need to be closed. And one has to close BEFORE the other one. Who else is gonna teach you how to do that? You need a mentor to show you which one to close first.
