get yourself one of those larger white paint buckets, set it between the seats (comes in handy for naptime)

vans aren't all that, just watch your height and how high a center of gravity the trailer has until you get used to it. everyone tries to maximize the volume, so double stacking is the norm if you're pulling an ltl. make sure your tandems are set right, then when backing up, use tires if you have lines, trailer doors if not to aim.

LTL trailers have ROLL-UP doors. No need to open them before hand.

Well I called the lady yesterday and left a message on her voice mail. I got this email today.

Dear Brandon,

Thank you for expressing an interest in a position with A. Duie Pyle, Inc.

I received your resume and have tried to contact you but I am not able to reach you. Please call me at your earliest convenience to discuss possible employment opportunities at A. Duie Pyle, Inc.

I know my phone is working fine. All my friends call me and leave voice mails. So i think that may be Bullshit. I called her back again today after i got this email and still no answer. Will call again 2morrow if i don't hear from her.

I hate it when people pull crap like this...I'd keep on her till I got a concrete answer. Or maybe your inside help can help you out.

Or, maybe it's not really worth working for a company that can't be open and aboveboard about the status of Mackman's application.

Why kiss their a$$?

Screw 'em if thats the way they do things.

Just mentioning what I would do. If I had the opportunity to get out of my current dump truck position I would do it in a heart beat, even if I had to do a little hounding. With few to no decent job openings in california right now, if someone showed any interest in hiring me I would not just brush them off because of a bad apple in human resources or whatever she is.

Now if jobs where a dime a dozen like they may have been in the past, my answer may have been different.
