Default which company are you with?? I'd really like to know

As for all these people on here that make remarks about felony convictions, they are mindless fools with no direction in life what-so-ever.

Yes there are companies that will hire you and the ones that do are much better companies than the ones who wont. Forget the major names because they are crap companies anyway.

When I was having a hard time getting hired I kept trying and I'm so glad I did because if not I would be miserable with one of majors that use people up till they cant stand trucking anymore.

So I'd be very interested which company picked you up. I'm with a flatbed carrier and would be interested which others will hire.

I'm not posting for the general public because people on this forum are clueless.

They got on with CRST. I'd rather be a lease operator with CR England than a company driver for CRST. Give them a try, they love felons and people with horrendous MVR's. You'll fit right in.

Clueless, huh? Let's see. I still have the right to vote, the right to own guns and I don't have to register with my local law enforcement.

I love writing the controversial stuff on here. I find this websites' credibility to be less than adequate for anyone serious about the any issues that are posted. The question was - Can anyone with a felony conviction obtain employment in trucking. The answer is clearly yes. The companys that wont hire are ones that shouldnt be driven for even without a felony conviction or any other issue. The pay is incredibly offset to the point where you'd be better off flipping burger and going home every night. As far as making this a moral issue - well, I would put drinking and driving and battery much higher on the list of any felony you'll find. I'd also higher a dealer over a user anyday.

And oh yes, the part about a DUI versus a HOMICIDE is utterly priceless ??? ROFLMAO I think I will go "flip burger" now......................oh and it's "hire" NOT higher..oh course we know what you were thinking. Little too much of the crack pipe eh ??

It's not controversial, it's just stupid. You get all defiant and upset because you're a felon and companies won't hire you. Then you call the us non-felons mindless fools. What a loser!

Uh, yeah, uh-huh....you betcha!! Right. Sure thing.

Yes there are companies that will hire you and the ones that do are much better companies than the ones who wont. Forget the major names because they are crap companies anyway.
Yeah, there's a produce hauler in FL that hires "felons"...no benefits, and the pay truly "sucks". And I do mean "sucks". Yup, they're better than any of the others....sure they are.

When I was having a hard time getting hired I kept trying and I'm so glad I did because if not I would be miserable with one of majors that use people up till they cant stand trucking anymore.
I'm happy you're doing well. Seriously. And yes, some of the majors are crappy companies.....but then again, you have to remember something, when a company will not hire someone with a felony record, it may not be because they don't want to.....its often because they send their trucks to Canada, and a driver with a record can't go there. And its also true that insurance companies won't allow the company to hire drivers with felonies if they are insuring a carrier that hauls high value goods. And, its quite possible that the carrier requires a hazmat endorsement....and many felons cannot get the endorsement.

At any rate, we're so happy you dropped by.
