Your former customers stole and/or prostituted themselves to get the money to buy drugs from you. Some of the money that you made was supposed to be used for buying their kids clothes and food. But, instead the kids parents made bad choices and their innocent kids suffered. So, Yes you did hurt people. And you should own up to your mistakes.

I was convicted in 1991 for Distribution of Marijuana. I'm leased to a local company here in South Carolina and they knew about it then and now. Heck I was on every news channel when I was arrested. In 1994 I worked for PST out of Salt Lake City (no longer around). I had no problems lying on my app. They never found out. Probably because computers weren't used like they are today.
Now, when I leased onto Fed-Ex in 2001, BIG TIME DIFFERENT STORY! I lied and 3 weeks later, while I was in downtown Brooklyn, NY, they called and told me my lease was no longer valid. The VP of Safety told me I should NOT have lied and if I had been honest, they could have worked with me. The reason being is Fed-Ex traveled into Canada and with a conviction like mine, I would not be allowed. It all worked out for me just fine. I am going to work on getting my record expunged in the future. Maybe you and your husband could try that. Hope everything works out.
