another example of someone who stays inside their own insular world, not the world at large...

outside of UPS (who won't hire w/a felony history) there are many others who will... good companies too, by the way.

May Trucking, JBH, DSCO among others will hire with even more recent felony. Check them out.

If CRE is all you can get, take it and make the best of it. Try and stick it out for a year and more doors will open for you. There are some drivers I've met that are doing ok there.

A positive response - finally - also from the next two posters!!

If you go to CAD company listings, click on the bottom to see your state (for companies hiring from) and then click on the button to compare companies, you'll see the felony hiring policies on all of them. Of course some may exclude the type of felony you have, but you'll find many companies who will hire you. Next is to get the year experience greg3564 is talking about...even more doors open. 8)

Hoping and praying.

Getting in the truck Saturday. Can't wait.

does'nt mean the job is worth a damn....let's see what they pay you...Someone with a recent felony is just as good as having a slave...You can't say or do anything that goes against the company line, because after all, no-one else will hire you. Crap jobs are a dime a dozen...

Here I am worried about hiring smokers (in the near future) and you get to discuss what I believe an impossibility (for this industry), drug dealers/users.

With an 80,000 monster I'd be afraid to hire obese (health problems) and smokers. How many roadway accidents have been caused due to a cigaretts?

Is it against the law to exclude the above two?

I'm paronoid of one of my drivers causing a serious accident.

I believe dopies and sellers should do society a favor an keep away from endangering the public via their chosen jobs.

I can see them working most anywhere BUT NOT in this industry.

God bless all. -Yes, dopies and dealers TOO!
