Average miles per month was about 12,000 miles. I just took the miles he ran total and divided it by 2.5 as with looking at how long he was out was about 2.5 months with the time he took off in December and taking a few days off in October.

They were going to let my husband bring the truck home. At least I believe they were. He never got a second time home....but that was our understanding. But I have read that from many other people on this board. We would not have gone there if they said we could not bring the truck home either.

I am glad to hear that. I am curious if any newbie with May had the same training experience at May as my husband did or if it was different.

It seems like the O/O get the miles during the slow times over there. I do not know how long or how bad the slow times were over there but if you save and are prepared you should do fine. Just stay out of the BLM parking lot :?

Best Wishes to you!

When i trained with May, i was only with my trainer for 10 days then tested out to get my truck. I like how they ask you what you prefer, a volvo, peterbilt, or freightshaker and if they dont have one availible they will put you on a list so that when one comes availible theyll switch you out. They have a couple of loops that they dont advertise, like the northern I-5 loop that runs from sacremento to washington or the southern I-5 that runs from yolo to LA then they have a pheonix loop that rubs to LA an back. This is all for the dry division. they have detention pay after 4 hrs an they pay for all lumpers. Bunch of other crap if you need any other info.

Default Seems Just Ok

Went to oreintation with May in Layton, UT. New hires are issued older trucks and the staff seemed unorganized with Brooks (HQ) and Layton not well cooordinated. All in all just ok.

From what I have been told, I would be able to take the truck home. I live approximately 250 miles from Brooks Or, and 350 from Payette Id, my friends live up around Sandpoint Id and they take their truck home every time they have their time off!
