Default Maverick driver's in Michigan

I've been looking at Maverick very hard as of late. Are there any driver's in SE Michigan? The recruiter (Beth) said it was ok to park the truck at a truckstop. But would like a better place any suggestions. And of course your opinion of the company.

thanks Chris

You'll be ok to park it at a truckstop, but they want to make sure the place is secure. Parking it at your home is ideal, but some people just don't have the space. If you plan to drop the trailer, you will have to get a form signed to do so and they will want to see the kingpin lock before they will approve it. Yes, they know that a lock can be removed with a screwdriver, but at least this might deter an "honest thief".

You mentioned that you are in SE Michigan, you're not looking at Truck City to park for the weekend are you? No offense, but if that is where you're looking at I wouldn't blame Maverick for wanting a better place...

Good luck.

Truck city! hehehe! That way you can hang out at the strip joint across the street and keep a good eye on your rig at the same time. What were you doing in that hole! We had a dispatcher there so I had a good reason!

Spent one night there. That was enough for me. Sleeping with one eye open is an art that I don't care to perfect... Had a delivery about a mile or so up the street and they wouldn't allow me to park there overnight so I had little choice.

I'm sure that there may be worse truckstops out there somewhere across this nation, but I sure don't care to see them.

No I live ten minutes for the "World Famous Detrioter" here in Woodhaven. Im going to try and find some kind of RV storage or something. The truckstop is a last resort.
