My husband is Lake Station Indiana this evening. He will have to slow down in order to watch his hours so he is now planning on getting into Bozeman Montana around Wednesday and he will make his drop on Thursday.

I know he drove hard in order to make his last drop on Friday and we had not planned on him getting a load until Monday. He is glad that he was kept moving and did not have to sit the weekend out.

I can't recall if he's heading home for a few days, but if he's not that may have been a good time for a 34 hour restart. Get a fresh 70 and push hard after reload.

I was took a load of nursery stock from Oregon to some home centers in Indiana, and Ohio. I pushed extra hard and got to Indy about 36 hours before my first drop. Perfect. No need to beg for early delivery. I reset and was able to deliver then push hard again.

This is something to consider when on the road. Physically, you can't run hard week after week. It's not healthy. Some weeks it's good to take it easy. Mentally and physically.

No he is not on his way home. The week before last he was off six days. Then he got the 950 mile total loads. So he needs to be running for a while so we can get things together financially. But with Davis you never know we may get to see him for a night or two in-between his runs They run the I-90 allot.

I think this last week was the hardest he has run. But now he will have to take it easy so he does not run out of hours. I agree with you that you can not do that all the time.

My husband ran into a snow storm this morning but he passed it without having to stop. He is in Billings, Montana this evening and he will make his drop sometime tomorrow. This load is going smoothly for him. It will be interesting to see what type of load he gets tomorrow.

How's it going? Been following your post since the start it was real helpful. I decided to go with Davis and was them for about 2 weeks then i had some home problem so i had to leave. They were everything you said nice , respectful, and they definitly have the miles for u. soon as i get home straightend out & can stay out that amount of time i'll be back for sure.
