Don't let anyone fool you. If there is a slowdown it's industry wide. Maverick is a long way from having any kind of serious problems. If you decide to come here, you'll see what I'm talking about. Their growing FAST! As a student driver, a slowdown will be welcome by me. Hopefully I'll have more time to learn before they start throwing the loads at me...lol.

In the last 6 business days I've seen 6 Maverick trucks up in Sioux City, Iowa. They seem to be pretty busy. Talked to one driver said he only got 1800 miles the week before, but that was his first low week since he started.

If your so busy, where do you find the time to post on CAD consistently, run the GoldiesPlating business you speak of AND keep up a recruiting website?
Oh, now I see. That's why you feel so stressed out, your working 3 jobs for whatever reason. I can only assume that you must not be making enough money driving. Oh well, you coulda been a Maverick :?: Then again....maybe not :dung:

Well.. got call last night and fly to Lil Rock this morning!! Was prepared to wait it out another week and consider other offers in the meantime but now couldn't be happier! I elected to go with the longhaul division as they had more trainers available there than regional and could get me in sooner. Having been isolated so long to one state while living way up north I'm excited to see as much of this country as possible which helped make longhaul an easy choice.
Good luck all! Thanks again for all the info shared here!!
