Odometer as of Dec.31 334,075. Miles for the year 85,296. $51,127/85,296=$.599 for all miles. I get a flat rate of 23% of the load.

I earned over a zillion dollars, beat that Jumbo.:moon:
Realistically it was more like $53,000 or so. If I really wanted to take the time to look it up I would. Of couse I could just pull numbers out of thin air and make it look good.

I got this confirmed from an inside source.
Today, TMC laid off an unknown number of office staff. Most were account reps, sales, and some fleet managers. My FM was among those let go. My understanding is that anyone with under 5 years in the office got cut. We as drivers are expected to do more with less, imagine what the leftovers in the office are trying to do right now? I'm still at TMC as an O/O. I run primarily intrastate Texas and I make very good money doing it. As long as the freight holds out I'll be here, just quietly doing my job. Another O/O wanted to jump ship and called 5 flatbed carriers including Lonestar, McClatchy Bros Pipe, Arrow, and a few others. All of them told him: "We are not hiring right now, try again in a few months." Yes, TMC hauls cheap freight. Right now we are moving more loads in Texas while other higher priced carriers are sitting idle. My profit margin is still high enough to pay off the bills and put money in savings. Well, boys, buckle up cuz it's gonna be a bumpy ride for atleast the next few months. Back quiet

So would any TMC full-time employees (not former - pissy employees) recommend hiring on with TMC now, or should I want and see what the eco. does.
I'm thinking about jumping in now for a couple of reasons. 1. Since frieght is slow, I can catch up with the learning curve at my own pace. 2. Get my road experience down before next winter ! Any professional advice would be great, just not looking for any of the pissing and whinning from EX TMC flunky's !

I am currently awaiting notice of a pending furlough from my company, should know definite in a month or less...I am thinking of returning to flatbedding, I did not drive for TMC but was "prehired" or at least given a start date. This economy is hitting every trucking sector for sure.
I was previously furloughed from the airlines after 20 some years....this will be another adventure! Interesting little tidbit....I was told,by CB, that a certain driver had made 140K this year....stopped at Tucumcari/Loves to meet him and get an app....he shows up with a 6 day beard...possibly 11 teeth....and the look of poverty....go figure.

My name is Jerod and I am in the recruiting department at TMC. I can tell you for sure TMC is not experiencing any layoffs in our offices. The idea that anyone with under five years invested here is being let go is simply not true.

:rofl: Jerod, I think you missed who Shadow's source may have been:
My FM was among those let go.

Are they still hiring? May be looking you up in the near future.
