Ahh the super singles... the M1's have a great tread life but the bridgestones have better tread/traction...
They are a blast to spin over esp. when the pavement is wet!!!!!!!!!! the ride is only slightly better over normal rds.. but where there are rail roads, speed bumps, and pot holes the SSs give the better ride.. As Goldie said they look awsome... I got extended tire life with them.. and only had 2 flats... 1/2" X3" bolts are hard on them... but wasn't stranded the tires held enought air for me to get to a t/s B4 to flat to run.... Winter Ice and Snow are not a problem with the SSs... they get execptionally good traction on ice and fair better on snow then duals... I was in the I-40 ice storm last Jan... I never broke traction... It took us just over 24 hrs to get from NM to Ok.. Co, WY, UT, MT I ran all the northren states last winter the only time I had to stop was for wrecks and rd/closures yep I like them.. and stuck with duals right now... not to happy with the idea being it's almost winter again.... The MPG was better sinpliy because of the lesser weight you carry with them...

I am waiting for my DAC to get here before applying to TMC, should I get accepted I know that I will have to go out with a trainer and have no problem with that. I have 14 yrs OTR experience, but I took a 10 yr nap from it, so I'm sure I have some refreshing to do. Question is, I'm a smoker, will they try to match me with a trainer that smokes also, or should I just throw my pack out the window for 3 weeks?

Welp, passed the state exam today. I am now the proud owner of a class A CDL, with doubles, triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
I'll be in DSM around 8am Sunday. Looking forward to a learning experience.
