My hubby also made it to DM late Sunday night. I'm worried about him, he sounds really tired. I hope he got some rest last night. Anyway, he had a very interesting first day lol. I'll post more details later. To all those that are at TMC right now, good luck.

Thanks Fred! All is going well so far, they fixed my classification last night, back to a E2, where it should have been.

MadII slept like a log last night! Just nerves and the long bus ride.

Watching films mostly today, will update the blog later this evening.

Off we go to class.

MadII almost always sleeps like a log, which is great unless you're trying to sleep next to him

However..I'm not sure you two have met up with truckerslady's husband, I think she said he came in later than you two

yeah he got in later, around 11:30 or so. he said the bus ride was terrible! he was supose to leave Beckley WV around 2:00 on Sat afternoon but the bus was 2 hours late. So he had to catch the 11:40 PM bus instead. This put him getting in DM at 11:30 PM. (12:30 my time, yall are an hour behind us)

OK, was reading the post in a hurry earlier. Not sure who truckerslady's hubby is! Is he in the A-6 class or the Eval class? I believe we do have one driver from WV in our class. I may know who he is, but have not connected him with CAD.
Will be back shortly, gonna go update the blog.

I like seeing you guys out there on the road - it makes me appreciate my job more! It also helps me understand the mind of a trucker who pulls a flatbed. You have to absolutely have a passion for what you do. What I mean by that is, there are plenty of other jobs out there that you could be successful at, do less physical work, get treated better by the office personnel, and make more money. Yet, you choose to stick it out and enjoy what you do for a living. That's dedication! I admire you all for it and wish you all the best. I haven't run into a TMC driver that I didn't like out on the road or who couldn't drive safely. Even though most of the time you're mostly going in the opposite direction.

To all former TMC drivers, leave these guys in peace. The new drivers have already made up their minds, and the seasoned veterans aren't going to let you bash their company freely. There are a variety of things that rubbed us all the wrong way about TMC, so we left for our own personal reasons. There's no reason to disrupt this forum with finger pointing or name calling. In the end, we're all drivers trying to do what's best for our families.

Stay safe & keep the rubber side down everyone!
very well said. be safe out there.
