NC I a few hours left but I figured I could get a better start the next morning. WRONG my FM chewed me out for a late delivery... next time I am calling safety and bypass the FM and dispatch.

Well granted, I know from experiance that it is better to stop sometimes a little early and start back up early in the moring to get ahead of traffic, rather than to have to sit in a traffic jam somewhere like Charlotte or Atlanta..

Don't take any k-rap off a pencil pusher, when your tired park, if anyone wants to cry about it, tell them to take it up with safety..

new to the site, spent the better part of the morning reading all the TMC threads and had a pretty good feeling about the company then it seem to get negative today. I've been back and forth about going to TMC, i currently drive for CON-WAY, I'm home every day, the work isn't to hard and the pay is OK but I'm not driving those shiny Pete's. does anyone have any input , what would you choose????

If you like it there at Con-Way, you should stay there I would think, you are making at least $15.00 if you just started there, and what is top pay there now, $20.00 hr.?

Exactly. Not only do you have Safety on your side, and yes, they do have the power to fire FM's, but you also have the DOT on your side. The last thing any company wants is to have the DOT digging through their paperwork. Don't ever do anything that you know is dangerous to yourself or the public. It's your azz that's on the line, not your FM.
