What year mustang do you have Steve?

10-11-2007 10:21 PM

It's a black 05 GT convertible with the V8. Goes like crazy!!

Had to stop for a little snooze. I'm in Trenton and heading out for the last 300 miles of Hell.

That's sounds nice. Got any mods to the engine? If not you should look into it, you might be able to shave some time off your 2.3 second store run.

I was looking at the new ones last year, I like the retro look, but bought another truck instead. 8) I've got a serious truck habit.

I have a friend who owns a Nascar car and driver, Sonny Martel Racing. I'm not into it so don't know if that's how you say it. He owns a speed shop and wants to get his hands on my engine. He plays a bass in a band and I manage there web page so he feels like he owes me.

It's the first automatic I have ever owned and LOVE not having to shift anymore.

The sticker price was $36,000. It has every option available. I just happened to be driving by with my Ford Taurus and saw the car. I stopped, the sales manager came out and said, give me your ford and $25,000 and it's yours. No lie, it took 20 minutes with a Ford credit check and I drove away. My Taurus was worth about $2,000. They didn't even drive it. Said it was going to the auction.

I will probably buy another one I like it so much. I ordered 4 special studded snow tires from Canada. It will blow the doors off any 4 wheel drive in the snow and ice!!! The Canadians (Rank) invented a stud that stays flush with the tire then protrudes out with centrifugal force!

Too bad they don't play Hockey any more but there tires are great!!! They hear Bobby Orr was coming back and gave up the game.

Everybody get your waders out. It's getting deep in here.

So what magical options does your Mustang come with that increase the price $12,000 over the MSRP?

GT Premium ($1,335) comes with the Shaker 500-watt audio system with 6-disc CD player and MP3 capability and Aberdeen leather-trimmed embossed sport bucket seats. Options on all Mustang GTs include the five-speed automatic transmission ($995), side-impact air bags ($370), 17-inch machined aluminum wheels ($195), active anti-theft system ($255), a Shaker 1000-watt audio system ($1,295), an interior upgrade package ($450), and an interior color enhancement package ($175).
All the options available only come to $4365. Got any more tall tales you'd like to tell Steve? Did they give you $2.00 per mile while you test drove it?

It's possible

Here's why I lost interest in the Mustang..........300-horsepower 4.6-liter sohc V8.............That's way too small, you can't get into any trouble with that.

Hey Rev, whats the problem. The deal Steve got on his car was OK with him. I guess he likes the car. You could find fault with the tooth fairy and the easter bunny. It's obvious you don't particularly care for Steve's way of doing things. It's his way. Get over it. (leaving soapbox) :!: :!:

Or he's a bold faced liar. Take your pick.

No, I don't care for people who blow smoke up other people's butts, especially hobby truckers pretending they are some sort of know-it-all supertrucker after less than one year behind the wheel.

Maybe if Steve didn't try to stretch the truth about everything (his rates, his earnings, his toys), then I would have nothing to complain about.

It's his way.
It certainly is.

Get over it. (leaving soapbox) :!: :!:
With all due respect, and remember - I said "with all due respect", KMA.

If you order my car today it's $38K+. Try ford.com and configure one. With dealer prep and destination the retail on some with all the options can be almost $40k. Mine is a GT premium convertible with built in GPS and most options if you need a starting point.

I don't think I've ever seen a bigger jealous baby than you Rev. Give me your address and I'll send you a wide magic marker so you can put a big fat "L" on your forehead!!! lol

Now, where did I put that ignore button.

Made it home in one piece. My GPS said I would be home at 9am. I got home at 1pm with that rat hole NY traffic and heavy rains.

I just ate 2 steak and cheese grinders and ready to go into a coma. I still have my load on and will deliver on Monday. I think I'm going to stay home for 2 weeks unless I get bored.

Time to get cleaned up and watch Wild Hogs.

Early Christmas present for ya Steve. I'm just so damn selfless  Don't say I never gave ya anything.
