You always get everything in writing before taking a load, no matter who it is from. I am surprised that they gave you a confirmation order without having a signed contract. I have done business with CH Robinson for a number of years and never had a problem.

That's not what happened. If you want to call me Mike, I'll tell you. Just don't want to go into the details of it here. I did have a signed contract by the way.

I loaded up with my pallets of potting soil this morning and hit the road about 11am. Ran into lots of traffic on 64 and 95 heading through Virginia and am now on the outskirts of Washington shut down for the night. I'm at the weigh station truck parking. A million spots and nobody here. I'm going to get an early start and try and make it through that crap hole NY. I'm talking about the roads.

Got a call already from a shipper around me who wants a load hauled out to Montana a week after I get home. Told him I would think about it. I'm considering taking more than a week off since I've been out for so long.

Nice and cool here right now so it should be great sleeping weather tonight although I probably won't want to get out of bed in the morning.

Feeling pretty grubby at the moment since I didn't take a shower this morning and won't tomorrow morning. That's one of the best things about heading home is looking forward to getting cleaned up, Chinese food, movies and Mr. Chair.
