I had a 1982 Corvette before they changed to the new design. A little trivia fact, there was no 1983 Corvette. Mine was the most luxurious car I ever owned. 198 horse cross fire injection. I couldn't even blow off a Jetta.

Im just getting ready to list a friends 82 corvette on ebay. And even tho his is a 383 stroker +.030" now, and cammed, it still only makes about 275 hp., maybe 300, that would be optimistic. Am thinking it should do about $12k. needs interior (which is not cheap on those) but the rest of the car is nice. Just drove it this morning.

I think I paid $20k for mine new and sold it for $17k 5 years later. The car was mine but was paid for by Digital. We could have a car supplied to us or buy our own and be given $200 per month so I bought the Vett but had to buy a new car after 5 years. No more sports cars allowed after that one. I had a Chevy 4 door Grey Malibu after that. :cry:

Here is a hint. After being on the road and not eating for a day and half. Do not come home and eat 2 steak and cheese grinders. I'm ready to puke.
