Yup, I put grease on everything when I replace hardware. A mechanic gave me a spray can of grease that they use on everything now. I've since gone back and taken some of those bolts back out and they came off like nothing. It sure does pay.

It's much louder than the engine running for sure but still quiet in the cab. The cooling capacity blows the doors off the truck system. The Rigmaster is 20,000 BTU's and blows cold air big time. I only ran it once at the dealer and it was in the 90's and it cooled the cab off real nice. I didn't let it run long enough for the temp to get down so it didn't idle down. Maybe when it does it will me much quieter.

I'm in Kentucky right now moving my mom so I really shouldn't say anything about the system just yet until I get home and head out for my 3 week run. I'm sure I'll run into plenty of hot weather.

I guessing it's going to be a little less, around $185,000. I didn't expect to be tied up moving my mother this long. As far as net, I have no idea until I do my taxes. I've been putting a lot of my extra money back into the truck on non essential items like the Rigmaster and replacing parts with new ones that look nicer.

I made it home this morning and went down to my truck and played with the APU for a bit. I got inside the truck, turned the lights on and the radio to listen to the news while I was puttering and all of a sudden the APU powered up all by itself. I turned the truck key on and pulled up the trucks computer display of battery voltage and it was 10.9. The APU kicks on when the voltage drops below 11 volts.

The engine was real quiet. When I was running it before it was running at full speed trying to cool the truck off and running the battery charger. I went out for some food and came back and the APU was off and the batteries were charged to full.

I then tried another experiment and fired up the Rigmaster and set the temp to 1 degree less than what it was. It came on full blast until it reached the temp then the APU was real quiet again.

It also has a feature which I like. You can put the system into automatic mode and the APU will start up automatically when the temp falls 5 degrees below the set point or 5 degrees above the current temp. I'll probably use that feature a lot especially when I know I'm heading out from home the next morning and it's cold. I'll set it for like 50 so the cab will be warm and so will the engine block.

I plan to head out on Wed or Thur and I'm sure it will be put to the test.

No, he downgraded projected rebenue by $10K.

$10,000 is delusional...even for Steve. :)

Ah, I missed where he said he doesn't know net.

Lack of quality reading on my part, sorry steve!

My mother took up a lot of my time this year forcing me to come home early for different crisis.

As far as maintenance, I didn't really have anything huge.

Steers $700
PM's $600
Trailer tires $1800
New muffler and shroud $600

Everything else was minor and maybe added up to a total of $5000.

The Rigmaster will be depreciated over 3 years or so.

I have very detailed records and will do the tally when my taxes are done.
