Judging by the fact that you are biting the line every time he throws it out, I would tend to disagree.

 

Why do you get wrapped up in this, Rev? Alone, you're a pretty decent guy. Teaming up with Big D against Steve, you guys acted like jackals.

You're better than this, I think you'll have a hard time drawing me in. Big D, I'm serious, he's got a wife, he may have kids...you don't spew venom 'religiously' on a board like this but have happy, harmonious relations with your loved ones back home. Do a mental survey of the guys who post regularly to this board, no one else has such an insatiable need to try to raise himself up by dragging others down.

The fact is, no, I don't swallow. :moon: But, I was out walking the other day and this dude pulls up in his pickup and offers me a ride, and then he later pulls up to me again and tells me I'm the sexiest something or other he's ever seen (young, good looking hispanic). So Rev, I've still got it! The homos are still looking! I just wish the fine looking women were so aggressive!

Anyway, Big D was rough and tough enough to chase off an 18 year old high school guy who had a thing about trucks. Certainly you too don't need such acts of dominance to feel good about yourself!?

 

It's quite clear that you simply do not get it. I've never "teamed up" with anyone. In fact, I've never been "against" anyone either. BD, like myself, simply doesn't sugar coat something he disagrees with. While that can be off-putting to some (such as yourself), it doesn't change the fact that the message is certainly valid. Steve wasn't "run off". He self destructed under his own free will due to his know-it-all attitude with nothing to back it up with. Larry wasn't "run off". He became a lap dog for and a bad carbon copy of Steve, and when others pointed out the fact that not only was he giving up a fantastic opportunity to make a real CAREER for himself, but also was heading himself down a road of failure, he didn't want to listen, and chose to leave.

In both these cases, they didn't like the message, so they chose to attack the messenger. That only serves to negate their own message, and bogs the board down in the ridiculous finger pointing that you are attempting to do right now.

As far as the guy who thinks you are sexy, more power to you. A real woman wants someone who is confident in themselves, and shows it. In many ways, the same would hold true right here on this message board. Both BD and myself are confident in what we believe, and we aren't afraid to show it. That has the effect of putting a gigantic spotlight on us, getting us noticed. I can't speak for BD, but I know that the attention has nothing to do with it at all. Only someone who isn't confident in themselves seeks that type of attention for the sake of getting attention alone. I don't care if people don't agree with me. It's their right not to. But I am confident in what I believe, and I'm not afraid to show that confidence. That has the side effect of people such as yourself taking offense to it because you don't have that same confidence, and are intimidated by it.

Disagree with my assessment if you choose, but it is quite obvious to me. Good day, sir.

Really, no one else is talking that kind of junk (except now maybe yer daddy wants to start, too). It's been a good community, everyone has gotten along, people have been friendly and there are some who tap a lot of keys trying to be helpful. This is junk, and nothing else. From what I've seen, only Big Diesel is spewing it. As far as you and BD encouraging each other goes, I honestly never followed those blogs enough to say much about it.

 

As I have stated unwaveringly, I am not defending anything that Big Diesel says. I am simply defending his right to say it in the way he chooses to. If you have a problem with the way he posts, take it up with an Admin by clicking the "report post" on the particular post in question. They will likely tell you that he isn't violating any of the rules of the website, and that if you don't like what he has to say, then ignore him. There is an "ignore" feature in your User CP. I suggest you use it.
