I can imagine concern about the teflon tape breaking off in small bits and sticking to the crosshairs, something like that.

Listen, I don't know. I agree it all sounds dubious. Up to this point I've always had respect for Rutherford, although I did hear an entire show where he had Landstar doing an infomercial and no one called out distortions being made or provided any of the downside.

I don't judge everyone correctly, but at least I've thought my instincts were good.

No, it's pure BS. Andy does this every time. Someone complains that the unit doesn't bump up the MPG, he'll find ANY excuse why it isn't. Your fuel lines are crappy, wrong fuel filters, teflon tape, bad turbo3000(no such thing).

Then he waits a bit and sends a new one. Now according to the law of averages, some point in your life your average MPG will go up, sometimes it will go down. He's counting on you putting it on just before it goes up.

It's a scam. It does NOTHING. It is a $5 part.

I think half the problem is that many of the guys trying this thing have no clue what their MPG was prior to putting it on, so they have no idea what their MPG is after. Trucker's math, and all that.

I was talking to another Landstarve driver the other day who has a Turbo 3000 on his 2000 Freightliner Classic, and was claiming it gave him 1.5 mpg. I asked him how exactly it worked, and he said that by spinning the fuel, it increased the pressure to the injectors. And here I thought the fuel pump was what controlled the pressure.....

I smiled, rolled my eyes, and walked away.

Wow Saggy, I'm impressed!

I had you pegged as a believer!

I figured you had dual Turbo 3000 vadas on your dull Pete.

I didn't give you enough credit.

Well, I don't like to get taken, that's for sure. I guess I can't get a refund on he hour of labor. No refund on the installation kit (a coupler or two, nothing else). I'll run it another month or so and if the results aren't there, I'll recover what I can.

The loss here would be a breach of faith with Rutherford. You can't go through life unless you can find people to trust. If he has sold me snake oil, then the point is duly noted. I can survive a final loss of $150. That's about all I can say about that.

Everybody gets along on this board pretty well, except for your poisonous, vitriolic attacks on people. Seriously, your attacks stand out, I don't think there is anyone else with this need to belittle people the way you do.

Think about it, this is just a message board. Think about the poison you must spew over the people around you. You need to get saved. You need to find some way to get over your apparent misery. It's nothing to me, but God help the people who have to live with you.
