Actually, it's not called "being an ass". It's called "spreading the love". You just made my sig line

I just got a load for tomorrow. I put the address into my GPS and it said I would be there in 5 minutes. Thought something was wrong until I realized it's 3 miles down the road.

I just punched it into my custom made trucking calculator and if I dead headed over there I still would have had cash left in my pocket so I'd be doing GREAT!!!

Not much to do in San Juan other than walk around the old city. You sound like a seasoned cruiser so I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir. Just a note in case your not aware. If you or someone else gets a little sea sick the quickest cure is a shot of clear alcohol like Tequila or Vodka. I did a response to this yesterday but I guess it did'nt go through ??? Thanks for the well wishes but we won't be doing the cruise until April. I've heard a lot about St Thomas n all of that down there. I've been on 4 (each one with a different woman !!! ) other cruises all over the western Carribean before but never down into the Eastern or Southern Carribean. This will be the first one for my Chinese Wife and my daughter. I wanted them to both experience a real cruise and with this 1 being 7 days we all should be real sunburnt n full of alchole by the time it's all over with. Then go back to Atlanta to pick up the Pete n travel back home to S ILL .. That wife of mine can't handle a glass of wine let alone a shot of some-thing !!!! We would haft to tie a rope to her to keep her from falling over the railing on the ship !!!! Have a safe trip going to Ohio n a Great Holiday. Get off of the road early on New Years ya hear ????

Well, play time is over and time to get loaded up and back across the U.S. to deliver some steel to a company that makes tanks!
I delivered my crane parts here in Portland. Tootie's husband kept telling me about the traffic and I'm like ya ya ya, in one ear and out the other. HOLY SH**. I was stuck in traffic for over an hour to go 3 miles. It's the worst traffic I've ever seen. Don't tell Tootie, I'll never hear the end of it. I don't think she reads my posts so I should be all set. Just finished my reset which I forgot all about and almost headed out yesterday until I realized it but it was OK that I loaded up today instead. It's been raining non stop since I got here and it's sure nice to have an APU to keep the inside of the cab warm and the dampness out. There's a guy next to me with a roof top unit and the biggest diesel generator I've ever seen on his catwalk. It wasn't running so not sure how loud it is. I guess some bad weather is heading my way today so should be an exciting trip. I don't mind, I kind of enjoy the extreme conditions especially when you can just pull over and camp out.

Have fun on the cruise. Next time hit Jamaica and climb the falls. The flee market is unbelievable there also. Many of the cruise lines have programs for children so you may not see your daughter except for dinner every night.

We lived in OR for about a year while driving with Arrow (was there for 4 years) then got the bright idea to buy a house in OK. Well the house was an investment and was bought for that reason. The house sold for a NICE profit. So on to NC which was my dream because it is on the East coast close to family and all. Bo hated it there soooo back to OR and that is where HE will stay.....the jury is still out for me. As far as jobs well Arrow, then our truck. Right now driving someone elses truck all the O/O headaches were not for me. Bo on the other hand still wants to fulfill that dream and one day he.....I just dont know if I will be around or not....that remains to be seen. I cant say what the truck averages on here but it is WAY more than a dollar a mile.
