Not sure if I'm missing it, but doesn't look like you have a headache rack.
Might be my eyes need checked!
Great posts, I have followed your new career and I enjoy reading of your adventures.
What are the specs on the truck if you get the time.
Take care

Thanks!!
Glad you are enjoying the thread. No you eyes are just fine, I do not have a headache rack on it yet. I do like those ones like TMC has but dang they are expensive. I will buy a used one from Davis for now.

What kind of headache rack are you going to get? I like the ones that TMC uses, everything out of sight and a clean look to the back of the tractor.
Do you have an APU or anything to keep from idling in the middle of winter and summer?
Some big fouled anchors painted behind the stacks would look nice too.
Hope to see you on the road Chief.

Thanks. I too like the headache racks that have the doors like TMC runs but there are spendy. I do not have a APU or bunk heater  right now. I am looking into them and will decide which route to go later on down the road. I think you might be right with the fouled anchors  I wonder what it would cost to have someone paint some on?? I'll look into it.

sorry it is a nice looking truck, those big fuel tanks will come in handy when tryin to make the most of your fsc
all them boxes on yer trailer will be extremly handy also, i need to add at least one to mine, but i think you'll like that transcraft alot, very sturdy trailer....you might want to get the dump valve wired to yer dash so you can dump the rear axle when making tight turns or backing up....if nothing else it saves alot of wear on tires and takes away the risk of twisting an axle
all in all chief i say well done....

It's MAROON, not purple knuckles  Yeah those are dual 142gal tanks and gives me a nice set of legs to run on. So far, running empty AND idling all night (hate to idle  ) I've been averaging 6.68mpg. Hopefully that wont drop too bad once she is outfitted and I am under a load. The trailer already has the dump valve on it and I plan on having "B" install a switch for it while I am here in Missoula.
