I see signs that boast this is the chicken capitol of the U.S. I ate at the buffet and I must say, I've never had fried chicken like that in my life. The only thing I can think of is that it must be delivered fresh and not frozen. I mean, how can fried chicken taste any different. I ate it until I was ready to burst.

Something about this load also along the same lines as chicken above. 48,000 is not the same as all 48,000 loads. It really depends on the dimensions and how it's laid out. I've been cranking with no problems since I left with this load. It's low, square and covers most of my deck. I've haulded loads much less than this and they haul like 250,000 pounds!

The one thing that's missing on this Rigmaster is the ability to turn the heat on with the A/C like in your car. The inside of my cab is like 70 but it's raining out and it's damp. I would like the heat on maybe 72 and the A/C also to pull the humidity out of the air but that's not a feature they provide.

You didn't get an inflatable friend did you? I read on the TMC thread somebody did this and got into trouble somehow. LOL.

If you bought the inflatable doll make sure you have PLENTY of duct tape...I heard they get holes in them easy!! :wink: :lol:

The Good Pastor should definitely be a deterrent to burglary, not to mention popular on Halloween. My guess is he studied theology with Rev. V. Not sure I could ride around with "him" in my truck. Looks kind of like a sinister version of G-man that you might see in a dream. Was he one of the "kids" you saw standing in the field at 3:00 AM???

That thing has already given me 2 heart attacks. I'm walking back to my truck, look up and freak out.

I just went through Chicago, HUGE HUGE mistake. I think it took me 3 hours to get through at less than 1mph. I never down shifted so much in the lower 5 gears than I did today. Man, I was ready to pull off in the breakdown lane and just go to sleep until the night.

Got a call from C.H. Robinson today trying to push me a day earlier for delivery. They really really need this stuff BAD she says. Sorry, can't do it, I would have to run illegal plus I would get tired. But just try. NO, it will be there Wed morning when they open.

Then we went into this thing were she was figuring out how many miles I should have driven so far. I got the call for the load Friday afternoon and was loaded at 6:30pm. As far as this chick is concerned I should have driven 11 hours from the time I picked up the load.

I told her from now on, ask the driver. Say, big strong truck man, how many hours will you be able to drive today after you load up? Why none little missy, my normal bed time is 6:00pm and I've already run out of hours. By the way, what are you wearing?

I have a strange feeling this was expedited freight and they didn't tell me and kept most of the money. They did pay me really well but I do plan to ask the customer when I deliver and tell them I was not made aware this was expedited plus I was not paid for expedited service.

I wish I could remember exactly how the story went. But a guy with the manniquin (sp?) in his truck positioned her head so it was looking out the window and a 4 wheeler apparently thought she was in peril and called the cops or the company or something.
