yoopr's the only one here that gets it. ![]() Bigmon, would the Ritz steal 50 gallons of fuel from a guys company for $50. I kinda doubt it. Shahan, that's fine if you don't want to give a stranger YOUR money but why would you want to help him steal money from his company. That sounds a bit out of "your right mind" BanditsCousin, I am glad you are kind of owning up to your end of the deal. As far as asking your friend at the fast food joint to steal food for you, yeah I did that 7 years ago when I was 16. I have grown up a little since then.

Wow BanditsCousin, nice poll. Looks a little LEFT WING if you know what I mean.
How about you give all the details so we can make an informed decisions instead of leaving out the details. The new poll question should go something like this... Would you STEAL 50 gallons of fuel from a drivers company for $50 cash to the driver? Now thats a fair poll. Next time try not to make it such a one sided poll.

He KNEW he was stealing it when He bought it. That's the reason he brought it up in the First place.

How much have you grown in a year? If you owned a truck/trailer at 22....7 years ago you were 16......so you are 23? I'm just pulling your chain and mean no harm. I do acknowledge there was wrongdoing in the deal somewhere...probably. I also apprciate your honesty about the fast food joint, it would be VERY easy for you to lie to strengthen your point. I just don't agree with the fact I stole anything, but agree somebody may have been dishonest in their dealings. It really wasn't in my best interest to know more about the deal than necessary.

Dang I've been busy working and missed all the fun. Me thinks someone jumped out of the hot water and into the frying pan.
Over the Road, I see my partner made a simple statement of stealing and we have someone  who couldn't just give a fellow driver some money because he had a sleeper on his tractor? But said person can steal fuel and still hand him $50....why does that not make sense? I'd love to join in but I think I told the "newbie kid" I wouldn't darken his doorstep again. Since he can't handle women with an attitude and I've just come of the road from being out a bit .... I probably have said attitude. Have at it boys.....but the kid (BC) doesn't understand....not sure he will either.

Next time a driver needs money, I'll PM someone here to give me their #'s and I'll write a driver out a ComCheck for 50 on thier account 8) I might even split the difference
But I won't give 50 for a driver who wants to party up in a motel when he has a sleeper cab. Money for a shower or a spare shower coupon...you betcha :P So far, the poll speaks for itself....some would, some wouldn't, and some might.

This was a basic case of receiving stolen property. A comparable example is this same driver stealing a CB or some other driver's fuel and selling it to you. He still got the product illegally. The driver who is selling the company's fuel is guilty of embezzlement.

Its yet to be determined who pays for his fuel. Agreed?
If I buy a CB and sell it at 1/3 MSRP for a quick sale if I needed cash, stealing would be irrelevant.
