I can't seem to sell my house.
I haven't been able to sell mine either. I'm thinking about renting it to my daughter, but I know I'll get screwed on that.
I wish I could at least get someone to call on it. I can't even get that. It's irritating.
The RE market is dead here (Chicago area). All the Realtors I know are looking for other work. Econmy is down, unstable at best, and people aren't buying. Hell they just announced K-Mart is done. Everything they keep will be Sears Super Centers. Profits down 62%. That's huge.

My brother (in WI) said he has a little extra money and thought about buying houses and re-selling them. He said that now is a good time to buy them. Then, I asked him how many years he planned to keep them in order to be able to sell them again. We've got people leaving FL with their vehicles looking like the pictures from the depression era of the 30s, only with new vehicles. I didn't know about K-mart. How is Target doing?

For that matter, not long ago, I had a chance to look up homes in Holiday. (where I live now.) It's really not a big town, but even at that, there were 18,000 homes going into foreclosure then.

Last time I was in Indy, I got to see places I used to deliver to about 6 years ago. Back then, they had construction going on, expanding to keep up with demand. Today, they are all boarded up and signs saying "REAL ESTATE AUCTION" in front of them. Everytime I hear someone saying that if we're not careful, we're going to go into a recession. From what I see, we're already there. Next is another depression. And, from what I hear from CA, WI, OH, NH, and PA (through feed back from my campaign emails) all the money is going into the gas tanks and groceries, with nothing left over. Bush may as well have written out that tax rebate in one check to the oil industry.

Unless the little people (the ones that actually do all the factory jobs) have extra money to spend, the economy will not pick up. Instead, it's going to keep on going down. So, you both may be stuck with your houses for a few years.

To have oil prices go up $30/barrel, then come down $4/barrel is not going to do it. But, I do know a way to make oil prices take a serious nose-dive. And, I am working on it. And, if Al Gore isn't just blowing his horn about "SAVE THE PLANET", he could be a real allie.

Not a big surprise. They're not the only ones that will be going that way. Maybe we should let them know about BD.... Since he's so knowledgeable about business. Ready-made CEO, wouldn't you say?

I find it quite disturbing that high school kids could care less about politics and who they want in office!

When I finish all the laundry and I am about to relax, where do the four or five loads that suddenly appear out of no where come from?

Why when I finish cleaning the bathtub does someone feel the urge to give the dog a bath?

Why is my kitchen irresistable to my husband after I just cleaned it?

Why does he need to use every available dish, pan, and utensil to make one meal?

How come I am the only person in the house that knows where things are and can find them even when I tell them right where to look?

One answer: Mom
But still things I ponder.
