My alarm clock batteries died at some point last night... I was 30 min late for my delivery 2 miles away from the Pilot here in Ft. Worth. Thank the woman at the guard shack was nice and let it slide, yay!.

I'm now here back the pilot waiting for my load that picks up tonight in lancaster. It's a HUGE one, I don't think I'm going to have enough hours to do it... It's a whopping 16 MILES!!! boooooo. Luckily it's a d&h on both ends then theres a preload in the lancaster terminal going to Laredo. Then I'll probably sit in laredo until monday morning... Oh well, I need a reset.

Parking is good there ,but the place is a dive other wise , Like all AM bests . And if you're not fueling there or don't spend I think like $25.00 dollars in store purchases and your company doesn't get free parking there it costs $12 bucks to park for 10hr break
unfortunately the other option is far worse than here. it's the punjabi owned one at mack road/highway 99/stockton blvd, behind costco. i went there once only because my 14hrs came up as i pulled up on the public scale after picking up from campbell's soup. the showers were absolutely horrid. they made the swift terminal's showers in fontana look clean and proper in comparison. people ask me quite a bit, "how in the hell can you take a shower in that terminal's facilities?" my answer is, "i've taken showers in worse." the triangle truck stop in westley, california is also a dive and a half. its showers are also quite gross. the times i've rolled into there have been during the night and the new stop down the road is quite packed. it's not worth trying to find a spot in there after 2200hrs, pacific time.

14hr you mean that thing that makes you toss log page and start a new one...

if only the company i drive for didn't heavily monitor logs, i would have done that. i remember that day being pretty jacked up. it was my 4th run into campbells that very day, due to me somehow getting pre-plans and dispatched for loads out of there that had already been picked up. i've survived 2 audits so far. the first one came up with a very slight violation that was a non-issue: i accidentally put a drop and hook on line 1 rather than 4.

at any rate, i'm here at the flying j in winslow, arizona and should be somewhere in or near amarillo, texas tomorrow. anywhere between midnight - 0400, central, i'm rolling out to fort worth to make my delivery. then i'm off to a terminal in lancaster for my 34hr restart.

CFI Terminal in Lancaster, TX. Heading to Arkansas. Just happy to be leaving texas as I'm ready for some new scenery.

Nothing really interesting besides the fact that I passed that School bus painted Trick my Truck T2000 that's leased onto USA truck.

heyyyyyyyy, we weren't too far from one another. i just left swift's lancaster terminal early this morning at about 0100, arizona time. while going to the shipper, i got lost in downtown dallas. fortunately it was a place where i was bobtailing in to pick up a pre-loaded trailer.

It's a bit weird how the Swift, CFI and FFE yards are hidden back there. Travelling up and down 35 you would never think that theres a ton of trucks back there. Isn't it nice to get lost bobtailing? When I have to flip a U or something, theres no getting nervous, you just do it... BTing rules!
